I've joined the 2024.07.11-14 adult windsurf course with a dozen other adult trainee. My experience with the site, the two main instructors and the two young assistant instructors was really great and way beyond my expectations.
The atmosphere of the four days was respectful, helpful and caring. Not too much not too few, just enough instructions. The real beginners have got enough attention to get started, the intermediate ones like me, have got opportunities to practice themselves and just when I felt, that some help would be needed, one of the instructors was near me and gave a few hints that helped me to move forward on my self improvement practice. Such a sensitive, delicate and attentive environment helped me to learn and practice tacking and jibing.
We have got a two course lunch every day, not huge portions but on a hot day during sporting activities, it was quite OK.
The price-performance ratio is really good. I'll definitely return next year to polish further my intermediate skills and to enjoy the friendly and inclusive atmosphere. I wish all success to run this business and build a community around the Shaka Surf Spot because it is a really rare place where a beginner or intermediate person does not feel themselves ashamed, rather encouraged and included.
Finally I met great people and will definitely keep in touch with some of them. Remarkable experience. Thank you Shaka Surf Spot!
