I found Stephen with a quick Google search and when I first initially contacted him he was very quick to respond and come out and take a look at the job, he clearly explained everything he was going do, once I got the quote I accepted it immediately! Once the work had started I was constantly kept in the loop of everything that was going on, he was tidy and efficient! And I couldn’t be happier with the work that’s been done! Won’t be using anyone else now for any garden work that needs doing

Great experience. I would highly recommend Steve and Natalie to anyone. Steve understood the exact requirements that were needed, and was able to quote and install the fence within an amazing timescale that worked for me and my family. The work was done to a very high standard, and I would not hesitate to contact them to come back and do any other work in the Garden.

Steve cleared a large, very overgrown boarder and replaced it with slate and sleeper edging. Extremely happy with the work, it has completely reduced our maintenance of that area. Would highly recommend him to all.

We are extremely pleased with the pergola which Steve built for us, ably assisted by Natalie. He was very prompt and efficient, welcomed our input and encouraged us to ask questions. After completing the job he left the premises clean and tidy. We would certainly use him for any future projects we may have.

I am so pleased I was given Stephens contact details and didn’t attempt this myself, it would never have looked so good and it has transformed the garden over the moon with the outcome. I would definitely call Stephen for future jobs, he is professional, nothing is too much trouble and is very knowledgeable and also takes pride in his work. I would recommend to anyone 10/10 excellent. 19/07/25 Third job Stephen has done for me and I would reckon, he provides a professional services, this job was a replacing the fence, excellent job, completed earlier than expected stayed long due to weather following day. The garden was tided up so my dog, didn’t eat any of the small pieces of wood that fell off from the old fence. Waiting for quote for further work

Wow where do we start.. Having made the big decision to revamp our front, side and rear garden from the boring new build finish, we went with Porcelain slabs all around, sleepers front and rear, decorative gravel and a new lawn. 5 quotes/visits in from the main local landscapers, all of which were professional and helpful… Steve’s overall approach, attitude, attention to detail and enthusiasm won him the job. We cannot recommend SGM Home and Garden enough for your garden project however big or small. Steve’s attention to detail and suggestions on design have resulted in our garden finish exceeding all expectations. Steve has been meticulous throughout; Communication 100% Punctually 100% Workmanship 100% Passion/energy 100% Trustworthy 100% Professionalism 110% We have to also not forget Natalie!!!! Steve’s “partner in crime”..(well daughter actually) who kept us all in check. A true grafter. And added the extra fun and laughter to the whole experience. A joy to work with, always friendly and respectful… Me and Jo cannot thank you guys enough.. Thank you for making the entire experience enjoyable and possible…
