I had moved here from the US with more health issues then you can count on one hand. Serenity has been such an amazing piece of mind that the medical system is one less thing to stress about. They are supportive, insightful, and always available to help. With thier help I've been able to get all 7+ medications easily, find doctors, and help with anything in-between. Recently had damaged some kind of muscle and was able to meet with a serenity doctor that day and get help to feel better. 10/10 would recommend

My husband and I can't say enough positive things about Serenity. On top of every benefit mentioned by the other reviews here, such as, amazing nurse managers who help us with every aspect of the Portuguese healthcare system--it feels priceless just to have one dedicated, competent, and caring medical professional really listen to our needs and help us make a solid comprehensive personal health roadmap for the first time in our lives. And that alone is well worth it. Nothing even remotely similar to Serenity has ever existed before! I am especially grateful for the new Advanced Menopause Care Program they have developed for their members! It was a life altering experience after 10 years struggling to find answers and something I recommend to any woman over 40! Dr. Rita took 1 1/2 hours to personally learn my entire medical history and menopause-related symptoms. Then she discussed treatment options and created a tailored care plan for me! I feel so much better--for the first time in years and I can see light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you, Leonor, Dr Rita, and the whole Serenity team!
I found Serenity a crucial part of my transition into the Portuguese community. With all the stresses of moving to a new country, having a team focused on your health, navigating a system in a different language with different processes, was a lifesaver and helped me get the medical and prescriptions guidance I needed, connecting me to high quality health professionals.
So, why am I writing a review of Serenity when I´m breaking up with them like a high school sweetheart? Because for three and a half years they gave us peace of mind while we came to understand the health system (and the dreaded bureaucracy) here in Portugal.
We always knew that if we needed to speak with a nurse about symptoms or had to expedite "uma consulta", they would intercede on our behalf. It´s sort of like being able to pull rank, but sometimes it just comes to that, like when you can´t get a dermatology or neurology appointment for four months.
Over time, we established our own relationships with medical staff and our hospital to the point where Serenity worked themselves out of a job, but along the way they were able to provide advice and assistance whenever we needed it. It helped greatly that we weren´t ping-ponged among various staff and always had our own contact for questions and recommendations.
Thanks to all those within Serenity who helped us along the way, we´re leaving as very satisfied referral clients.
To be honest, when my wife and I moved to Portugal we signed up with Serenity as a one year deal to take a bit of stress off us during the transition. However, Paula and the entire team at Serenity have been so helpful we just renewed for our 3rd year!!! The communication is exceptional, the assistance is invaluable, and the level of professionalism is tremendous. What we thought would simply be a convenience has become an integral part of our Portuguese experience. MUITO OBRIGADO Serenity!

Serenity Health has been an absolute godsend to us on our recent relocation to Portugal. Choosing new healthcare providers when you move is always a challenge, but throw in a new language and different systems and I would have been lost. We contacted Serenity before we moved. We are so happy with the caring service. We were matched with Beatriz as our primary contact, she is knowledgeable and kind. We would be lost without her.
Signing up for Serenity was one of the best choices I've made since deciding to move to Lisbon. Tiago, my nurse manager, is awesome - responsive, empathetic, and thorough. I have multiple chronic health issues and he has helped me get set up with appointments with a GP and three different specialists. The team is very responsive to issues (like getting the flu or needing to go to urgent care or reschedule an appointment). They have also helped me with advice on health insurance. The services they provide are extremely helpful as an immigrant who is still learning Portuguese. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Dr. Galacho, the in-house pain management doctor, is good too. Overall worth every cent.
Serenity has been a valuable resource as we immigrated to Portugal. Staff, nurses and doctors are kind and responsive. Regardless of how prepared you are to move to a new country, having a team help you navigate an entirely different healthcare system relieves a lot of stress as you settle into your new life. I have been very impressed with our own Nurse, Leonor Phillips. Very knowledgeable. The service that Serenity has provided for my wife and I since moving to Portugal 7 months ago has been outstanding. Serenity staff has given us crucial guidance in navigating Portugal's healthcare and health insurance systems. Most importantly, our Nurse Care Manager, Daniela Martins, has provided her services professionally, accurately and compassionately. Her patient care skills are awsome. We have found Serenity’s concierge medical services to be superb. Our nurse manager is knowledgeable, professional, kind, compassionate, and responsive. She continues to find the right medical professionals for us, arranges appointments, and follows up. We could not have navigated the medical system in Portugal as easily by ourselves and wouldn’t have wanted to. Serenity’s administrators also intermittently check in to see how we are experiencing their services. This organization is well worth the membership cost. Joining was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

Dr. Joana Santos was very kind and helpful.
