Headline: Overpriced, over-pushed, and ignored my requests.
I am incredibly disappointed with my recent visit. I was sold a "recommended" shampoo and conditioner, only to get home and realize the conditioner was actually a stimulating lotion for hair loss—something I don't need.
The service itself was equally frustrating. I asked for a beard trim, but the stylist completely removed the sides of my beard against my request. The entire appointment felt like a high-pressure infomercial; I was constantly being upsold everything from cologne to hair gel and could barely get a word in edgewise. Now, I’m stuck with a haircut that is far shorter than I wanted and $250 out of pocket. I’ll have to wait weeks for this to grow out just so I can get it fixed elsewhere

I have been going to the Gents place for three years now since I moved from my beloved Austin. I found the gents place out of convenience to my house. Well let me tell you its a great place for all your haircut and grooming needs. My stylist Teresa is amazing and always attentive to me changing my style for a haircut. If you visit ask for her you wont be disappointed. Also for your drink needs my man Ethan is a great bartender and great guy to just talk to. Overall a fabulous place to meet some great people and have a drink.

professional, welcoming, and consistently high quality every visit.
Kylee, my barber, truly goes above and beyond every time. She is incredibly consistent, pays attention to detail, and always makes sure my haircut is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s rare to find that level of reliability and care.
That said, the entire team is excellent every barber I’ve interacted with is skilled, friendly, and clearly takes pride in their work. I highly recommend The Gents Place to anyone looking for a premium grooming experience.

The first time I stopped by was to get acquainted and check out the services and surroundings. The staff were most professional, welcoming, explained everything in detail and we set a first appointment to meet with Jessica.
Arrived a couple of days later to see Jessica. Once again, the staff was most accommodating. I received a detailed tour of every room, introduction to the products, memberships, perks, etc. Jessica listened to my needs, made some suggestions and did an awesome job on my hair.
I signed up for an annual membership and could not be more pleased with the pricing, overall accommodation, and membership level opportunities!

Absolutely love this place, it started as a place I would go to just to get cologne but I then noticed some of their services and decided to give it a try and it hasn’t disappointed to say the least! Michelle is great along with the supporting staff and I always feel welcomed when I come in.
