If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure in Cancun/Riviera Maya, Selvatica absolutely delivers. The zip lines were incredible — fast, exciting, and surrounded by beautiful jungle scenery. Every course felt safe, well organized, and genuinely thrilling. The staff was energetic, funny, and made the entire experience even better from start to finish. What really stood out was how professional and friendly everyone was. You can tell the guides love what they do, and they made our whole group feel comfortable while still keeping the adrenaline high. Between the zip lines, off-road adventure, and the overall atmosphere, this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone wanting a real adventure experience!

My wife, daughter, and I did tour there that included the bungee swing, 10 zip lines, ATV's, and a swim in a cenota. They also provided a simple breakfast and lunch. The staff were great, very funny and friendly. The entire time we were there, most of the staff kept talking about Selvatica closing and going out of business and that the day we were there was their last tour ever. If that's not true, then I assume it's to get us to tip them more maybe? The ATV's were in very bad shape, they only had four and all were unsafe. The pictures were great but the price to purchase pictures was ridiculous. We were looking through the pictures at the end to see if we wanted to buy them. They had taken 225 pictures of the three of us throughout all the activities. They said it was $30 USD per picture! Or we could buy them all for $180 USD. This seems very wrong. We did not buy any.

Reply from Selvatica - The Adventure Tribe 2026.04.12

Amazing all around. If you go sign up for the “gimme all” so that you don’t miss out on anything. Every saftey measure is made to allow you to enjoy the adventures. Beautiful scenes on each part of the day. Jumping and ziplining into the Cenote was beyond cool. My only regret..I wish I brought more pesos for a bigger tip!! Give all these wonderful people a raise :)) Thank you so so much to everyone at Selvatica Cancún!

This was a top notch experience! My friend and I paid for the 10 stop zipline as well as the ATV through our resort. When we arrived to the location our tour guide Charlie let us know that we would be allowed to do the bungee jump as well as the cenote in addition to what we paid for. Charlie and his tribe ensured that we were safe, had fun and were comfortable. The zipline was fast paced and the ATVs were cool. The meal at the end was the best meal we had on our entire trip. The only issue we had was that our resort did not inform us that we needed to one bring cash instead of cards and that there would be extra fees for lockers and insurance. I would definitely come back again because Charlie and his team were wonderful!

Do not go to ride the coaster. It is not even in working condition. Their website falsely advertises several things that they no longer offer. When we asked them why they advertise it, they tried to make me feel like I misunderstood their website.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, Justin.

We had an incredible experience at Selvatica – The Adventure Tribe in Mexico! We did the zip lining, ATV ride, and cenote swim, and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The entire day was extremely well organized and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and very helpful from start to finish. They made everyone feel safe and comfortable while still keeping the experience fun and exciting. The zip lines were amazing, the ATV ride through the jungle was such a blast, and swimming in the cenote was absolutely beautiful and refreshing. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the food provided was actually really good, which was a nice bonus after all the activities. Overall it was a 10/10 experience, and I would absolutely recommend Selvatica to anyone visiting the area who wants an unforgettable adventure day. We had so much fun!

This was a wonderful experience!! The zip lining staff are amazing, fun and so organized! Everything was done so professionally. Very impressive ! They also supplied liners for the helmet & the the equip was all new. All the staff were amazing. We also went to the cenote as well and that was so beautiful!! Afterwards fajitas were provided and they were delicious 😋. They also provide lockers for a small fee . You cannot bring your cell phone in to take pics that was the only drawback. Pics were available for a fee.

My husband and I went here a couple weeks ago. I'm actually surprised by all the high reviews. We have been to other zipline parks including Xplor which was excellent and Selvatica is really run down compared to other parks. It looked old and worn everywhere you looked. It won awards 15 years ago but the state of it now leaves a lot to be desired. Many of the steel support beams for the ziplines have rust on them and even some boards going up the stairs had what felt like loose bolts. I felt uneasy going up the stairs and platforms seeing them in that condition. Many of the zipline gloves had holes in them and I had to ask for another pair. We bought the Gimme All package expecting it to include everything including Tarzania which is one of the big things they advertise but we found out after, our package didn't include it and we had to pay $15 extra per person for that ride. We paid it but when we went on it the track looked rusty and we weren't even sure the last time sometime used it. My husband went on it first and it was squeaky and jerky and a bunch of paint chips flew off the rusted track into his eyes as he went down. We told them about it and they had us fill out a comment page but didn't offer to refund it. The bathrooms were not in a good state at all and 3 of the women's bathroom sinks didn't even work, there was no water at all coming out of them and some of the toilets also didn't work or were out of commission. The atv place we had to ride in an open air bus down to a different part of the jungle and that place was also run down with garbage around, broken atvs on the sides of the paths and the atv we went in had broken off handles in the back and a plastic part that stuck into my leg as I sat in the back as my husband drove it. The cenote also looked run down and merky with ropes and platforms covered in slime/algae. We went in anyway but we have been to a lot prettier cenotes. We were annoyed they wouldn't allow cameras for pictures. I almost think they don't allow them because then people could take pictures of all the run down, rusted parts of the park. They said you could use a mounted GoPro only but I didn't know that before our trip or I would have brought mine. In order to get pictures, they try to sell you the photographer's pictures that work for the park but they wanted over $100 US for those pictures. We negotiated to get a better price after we saw them but the park tickets plus the extra ride plus the pictures ended up costing way more than we expected. For the condition of the place it was not worth it. The food after was good and we had fun on the ziplines but they really need to upgrade and fix many things in this park. I wouldn't go back in the state it's in.

It was soooooo fun! Staff was super friendly. Only problem was not being able to take your own pictures and them charging the same price as the tickets for the pictures they took. (I understand the ziplines is a safety issue with phones, but could not even take phone to cenote/bikes) The price for the photos was too expensive and I felt like they robbed me of having pictures as a memory. They asked to promote the park but not being allowed to take pictures/videos makes it kind of hard. That’s the only problem tho, would definitely recommend as it was such an amazing experience!

This would have been a five-star experience, but the no-phone policy really affected our day. I completely understand not allowing phones on activities for safety reasons. But phones were not allowed anywhere, which effectively leaves you with only one option, purchasing the professional photo package. The package is very expensive and if you choose not to buy it, you leave without a single photo. We were celebrating a birthday and a honeymoon and just wanted one or two personal photos. They are so strict that during lunch, I took my phone out to check messages and take an emergency call and was told that taking even one photo would result in being banned for the rest of the day. It felt uncomfortable and unreasonable to not have that choice and to leave without a single photo from such a special day. The staff were so attentive and wonderful and the activities were such fun, I just wish the policy felt more balanced and less scammy.

We sincerely regret that our no-phone policy affected your experience. While it is in place for safety and privacy reasons, we completely understand how important it is to capture personal memories, especially during a birthday and honeymoon and we’re sorry it felt restrictive.

We truly appreciate you sharing your perspective and will take your comments into consideration as we continue working to improve the guest experience. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a fully five-star visit in the future.

The zip lining was excellent and safety seemed a #1 concern. Very fun. The cenote was very nice. The workers were top notch. The ATV adventure I would give no stars. We were not told we had to pay extra for insurance. The equipment is run down and dangerous. The razor i drove had no muffler, no brakes, and the steering wheel was about to fall off. This is no exaggeration! The “ATV adventure” was driving around on roads/trails circling around in the woods. Got to see nothing. ATV ride was very disappointing. The rest was great.

Fun time but Xplor was way more fun, modern, economical and clean. Do not drink from the water jugs at/on/during the actual zipline course. Got violently ill from the water jug at course 5 or 6 (cant remember but its the only one offered in the middle of the experience) early January 2026. Make sure to bring your own bug spray. Enjoy your time!

went ziplining and for about 30 seconds I actually became a bird, screaming at the sky, feeling my soul do backflips, and questioning why humans even walk when flying is clearly superior. Then I noticed something... one of the staff looked exactly like José from my hotel. Same smile, same energy, same "I'm way too happy to be dealing with humans" vibe. Either he's a multi-universe José or Cancun is just one big José conspiracy.
