I am the Lifestyle Coordinator at St Vincent’s Care Services in Kew, and I wanted to share some positive feedback about our recent experiences with Selmar Institute of Education. One of my team members, Niki, recently completed her Certificate IV in Leisure and Health through Selmar. Throughout her course, her trainer, Kelly Della Bosca, was consistently supportive, communicative, and proactive—regularly checking in with Niki and keeping me updated. We were both extremely pleased when Niki successfully completed her qualification. Another staff member, Jenny, is now undertaking her Certificate IV with Kelly as her trainer as well, and she is already experiencing the same high level of support. I personally completed my Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management with Selmar in 2018, and since then I have continued to recommend Selmar to anyone wishing to further their education in aged care. Well done to the Selmar team—your dedication and support make a real difference. I hope many more students have the opportunity to learn with you.

I finished Cert III in Aged Care with Selma, The trainers were really supportive and easy to talk to. Communication was clear and quick, and I always felt comfortable asking questions. They gave helpful guidance when things got challenging, which boosted my confidence. Overall, the course was really valuable. The teaching, resources, and hands-on experience all came together nicely. I’m very happy with the experience and the support I received. Thanks Selma and the team.

I have found studying with Selmar for both my Cert 111 and now my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care very rewarding. The courses are thorough, well put together and although they can be very intense and overwhelming at times, there is a lot of content to cover, I feel in the end this results in a better quality Educator. If you are lucky enough to have Rebecca Inserra as your trainer you have struck Gold!

I had Sarah as my trainer for my diploma, and I only wish I’d had her for my certificate too! From day one, she was responsive, emails and calls were answered straight away, and I never had to wait long for assessment feedback. Her support and guidance were consistent throughout, unlike my previous experience during my certificate. Sarah was genuinely helpful, reassuring, and an absolute asset to the business. I completed my diploma in 12 months, even with a 4-month break, and felt supported every step of the way. During placements, especially when things felt overwhelming, Sarah was always there with encouragement and calm. I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer.

I studied with Selmar to do my Certificate III in Individual Support. I am now a PCA working in an aged care centre close to home! Studying with Selmar was so easy! Even though some of the content was a little bit challenging, there was always someone out there to help and support me. I had 2 great trainers that helped me along my journey, and were always a message or phone call away. The learning content was so easy to navigate, it was extremely easy to read and understand. The assessments were also quite cruisey. I recommend Selmar any day! They are great to study with, and will help you reach your goals.
