Absolutely fantastic training facility, booking was easy, the staff were true professionals and the instructors have a mountain of experience and knowledge. All pre course information was given right down to easily accessible car parks. Can't thank these guys enough and I will be back again next time I need a refresher.
I booked on the coarse last minute due to time constraints. Mo and the team where very accommodating and helpful from the onset. They where always available for any questions and made sure I felt supported through the pre course learning. The actual week was run very professionally but there was no compromise to assistance where permitted. All training and learning goals were achieved with no added pressure from overzealous instructors. Everyone was on point, something ive not liked with other training companies in the security industry. In all, a great coarse, set at the right level. No one likes to do refresher courses and this was now my second one, but when they are run like STS do theirs, it makes the whole thing less painful. I highly recommend STS, Mo and his team are a fine example of how it should be done. Definitely using STS again.
A very detailed and helpful course.
I was under the impression it would be straightforward and I wouldn’t learn new information from it.
Having previously attended and completed a Door Supervisors course.
But both the trainers I had, Steve (in particular as he was the main trainer) and Mo were fantastic and keep the flow going.
They take their time to explain different answers. Explain the methodology and the thought process behind certain actions you have to partake in.
They both listen to any questions and answer them giving real life experiences that helped with the scenarios. If you want a proper course, I would highly recommend these guys. They’re not Cowboys and you’re actually going to be learning life skills that you can apply throughout your career not only in security but other walks of life.
Ps I strongly suggest being punctual as everyday starts on time.
I spent the day training one to one with Nobby yesterday, he provided me with a highest standard of disciplined training with different types of rifles. His life's work and experience shows in his training, following outstanding training protocols and methods to handle guns safely, in a controlled manner and with accuracy. I want to pursue a career in anti poaching in the future and he has set a solid foundation with just one day of training. I am dyslexic and can struggle with verbal instructions and Nobby provided me with patience, guidance and support to control my overwhelm and re-gain focus and composure. I can't recommend Nobby more and he is worth every penny you spend you can't put a price on solid training especially when it comes to weapons.
I look forward to more training with him in the near future. Thanks Nobby for giving me the confidence and support with my training yesterday. You really are one of a kind.
This is a top-tier training center. No 'cowboys' or 'ghost trainers' here—just highly skilled professionals. They are experts at delivering knowledge and are clearly well-practiced in the physical skills they teach. Highly recommended!

I had an excellent experience at STS SIA Training Center. The trainers were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and supportive throughout the entire course. They explained everything clearly and made sure everyone understood the material before moving on.
