Not satisfying
This is my first ever negative review, but It wasn’t the best trip for me and certainly not relaxing. I think they sold more tickets than seats, so we had to sit on the bench beside the engine. Do you think I heard any thing what they were saying? So much for their marine biologist information, which I actually did not experience at all. I had huge headache instead. The nature is beautiful, but I do not acknowledge any effort, but transportation from this particular group. There is such big competition with these sea trips and this one is not recommended and was disappointing for me.
Dolphins in the Algarve
Phenomenal cruise the see dolphins and Bengali CavesGreat crew , safe well run company Rain gear was given out Lots of information given on dolphin patterns and life we saw a pod of 12 both adult and young The caves were busy but the captain was able to get in and out of those caves with little issue We have done not too many on the boat but very sturdy and safe ride Recommend highly
Boat Trip to watch dolphins and a visit to Benagil Cave with Biologist.
Superb trip with excellent crew. We were told that we may not see any dolphins but we did and what a magical experience it was. Well worth the cost just to see this pod of common dolphins and topped it off with seeing the special caves.
Dolphins were the highlight.
We got to see a pod of dolphins with 3 brand new baby dolphins. The marine biologist was super informative and knowledgeable. The cave was nice. I heard it is better later in the day the light shines in better. It was cool but long boat ride and cold and windy to get there. The dolphins were awesome though
Dolphins and Scenery
Very scenic trip and a good way to see the villages, beaches and stunning cliffs from the water. The boat felt very safe with knowledgeable staff relating to the dolphins. Definitely recommend. It is good for people with minor physical impairments. The staff treat you with priority and select suitable seats.
Excellent
My partner booked this trip originally for the benigal caves but we had the chance to do both caves and dolphins. Being a very nervous sailor I was very happy with the experience as it was a very pleasant 2 1/2 hour trip . Lots of information given as we travelled & to top it off spotted lots of dolphins. Thanks to all the team for making what could have been a very nervous trip into a trip of the holiday xx
Professional Crew and Fascinating Marine Biologist On Board
We would highly recommend Sea Trips – a fantastic experience from start to finish. The crew were professional, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Having a marine biologist on board made the trip even more special, as we learned so much about the local wildlife and marine environment. An unforgettable day out on the water!
Lovely dolphins
Had a lovely experience from the time of booking with Jean Pierre who was knowledgeable and so friendly and enthusiastic. We booked the 2.5 hour Bengil and dolphin watching tour - last 4 seats on 5.30 trip on a Hurricane. The speedboat was fun and all the guides/marine biologists were knowledgeable and informative. We went to an area where dolphins weee seen and were so pleased to be able to see a large pod with a very small baby swimming and jumping close to the boat. We then went quite a long way to Benagil and back along the coast visiting caves and beaches. Was a great tour if a little cold and breezy on the way back. Lovely sunset on our return
Brilliant experience!
Amazing experience, we got to see a pod of 30 bottlenose dolphins playing in the waves. The cruise around the caves was also beautiful although they are pretty busy. Crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. Boat was comfortable and quick. I was surprised that we went as far out as we did but absolutely worth it.
Lovely but expensive
Lovely trip to see dolphins swimming (from afar) and view the beautiful caves. About 40 people in a large speed boat (children sit at the back as a less bumpy ride). Everyone handed red rain macs to keep dry too. Trip lasts around 2 hours. Be prepared -windy and noisy in the speed boat. Would have liked to have got closer to the dolphins but several tour boats in the area at the same time so essential to respect the dolphins. Worth doing but would say over expensive.
Disappointed
Disappointed...we had to cancel this experience due to our kids being terrified of the choppy waters on the tour we did the day before. We canceled 22 hours in advance rather than the 24 (of course because we didn't know how bad the waters would be as tourists), they still would not refund us the $245. They said to take it up with Viator, but I was told from Viator that the company would put in the request for the refund. Very confusing. No compassion or empathy for our situation.
