Very attentive and focused on making you feel comfortable. Dr. Kupetz has amazing bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. I was very anxious to get some filings done and he made me feel very comfortable and kept checking on me throughout. It’s super clear his patients and their well-being are really important to him. His staff is extremely friendly and the overall environment is welcoming and helps to put you at ease. I can’t recommend Dr. Kupetz and his staff enough!
I cannot say enough amazing things about this office! My husband is absolutely terrified of the dentist and had been putting off getting a tooth pulled for far too long because of his anxiety. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was kind, patient, and so understanding of how nervous he was.
Dr Scott Kupetz took the time to explain everything step by step, reassured him throughout the procedure, and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. The tooth extraction was quick, smooth, and honestly so much easier than we ever expected. My husband walked out saying, “That wasn’t bad at all!” — which is HUGE coming from him!

The friendly demeanor of the dentist and staff does not make up for the serious and unacceptable problems I experienced at this office. I was overcharged, and my insurance was submitted claims for procedures that were never performed, which raises serious ethical and billing concerns.
After a crown was placed in March 2025, my regular dentist later found excess cement left directly on my gum line—a basic and preventable error. My dentist was extremely disturbed by this and stated it could have caused damage to my gums. Leaving cement behind reflects a clear lack of attention to standard dental care and patient safety.
To make matters worse, the crown fell off while I was eating (unfortunately it was swallowed), yet I was told I would need to pay out of pocket for a completely new crown, despite the original being placed only months earlier. Refusing to stand behind recent work while shifting the financial burden onto the patient is unprofessional and unacceptable.
Between the billing irregularities, substandard workmanship, and lack of accountability, I strongly advise others to avoid this office altogether. If you do choose to go here, verify every charge, closely monitor what is submitted to your insurance, and be prepared to seek corrective care elsewhere.
found dr. kupetz on google while i was lying in bed in terrible shape, and i’m so lucky i did. dr. kupetz and his assistant, renee, are truly godsends. i had a dental emergency that included fevers and chills on a weekend. not only did he call me back straight away, he was kind enough to take me on a sunday afternoon. from the moment i walked into the office, where renee greeted me, i felt taken care of and reassured. and dr. kupetz himself was so kind and thorough and took his time to explain exactly what he was doing and to make sure i was comfortable and calm. the relief was immediate. could not recommend this dream team enough. truly grateful!!!
Where have Dr. Scott, Renee and Kathy been the last 4.5 years I’ve been in Dutchess County? My word for them and who they are is “human.” There is literally no one better.
Dr. Scott called me back after I had a weekend emergency and fit me in right away. In fact, he would have seen me sooner but I had my grandmother’s 90th birthday brunch and I wasn’t able.
Immediately upon walking in, Kathy knew who I was. I didn’t even have to announce myself. She was bright, pleasant, and made me feel right at home. Soon, I met Renee. Renee, what can I say- a breath of fresh air. Beyond patient, kind and gentle. I felt safe with her. In comes Dr. Scott with a smile that makes you actually want to be at the dentist so you can have that smile too. I can tell you that I’m a horrible patient, but you wouldn’t believe it. But I’m a TERRIFIED and horrible patient. Dr. Scott and Renee were as patient as a grandparent with their first born grandchild. I never once felt rushed or like a burden. Instead, I felt seen, heard, and safe. So much so, they even told me I was doing great when I knew I wasn’t. Dr. Scott made sure I was aware of everything that was happening. There were no surprises.
They took their time and stayed with me the entire time. He wasn’t leaving the room bouncing back and forth. They literally care about the patient in front of them and that is something that is rare. He still remembers why he became a dentist. And I left with no more pain!

I had an excellent experience here! Dr. Kupetz was professional, kind, and quick to respond when I had a dental emergency. Everything was completely pain-free, which really put me at ease. He explained things clearly, worked efficiently, and made the whole process stress-free. I truly appreciate the fast response time and the level of care I received. My 25 year old daughter recently needed some emergency work---on a Sunday afternoon. We were incredibly fortunate to find Dr Kupetz, who saw her within two hours. My daughter is deathly afraid of dentists, but Dr Kupetz and his team were so patient, gentle, and calming as he worked on her for several hours and took care of the problem. We could not be more impressed or thankful for all he did, and highly recommend him. Thank you Dr Scott!
Charged me over 2grand to not fix a tooth. Got an infection and had to have the tooth removed immediately after whatever he attempted. I had an infection prior to seeing this dentist, was prescribed antibiotics for a month by him. My pcp told me to never take antibiotics that long ever- Attempted getting a refund after seeing another dentist and was advised of how much damage was done- they never called me back or answered my calls. Disappointed entirely. I don’t make a lot of money and advised him that I was struggling - robbed me blind.
i have been visiting dr kupetz office for a few years now. i needed a root canal and i was scared, i have bad dental anxiety and when i went to a different dentist in the area she asked me if i took my meds today and told me she couldn’t do the work on me if i was going to be so anxious. i got up out of her chair and told her at that point i didnt want her to work in my mouth. i found dr kupetz online and he and his staff are AMAZING. dr kupetz assured me that a large number of ppl have dental anxiety. his bedside manner (or chairside in this case lol) is fantastic, he is patient, calm, and kind, as is all of the office staff. despite the costly price they work with me on the price and always do fantastic work. i have never felt so safe and comfortable in a dentist office. 100% recommend for all your dental needs.
Very VERY grateful for Dr. Scott. I needed an Emergency visit. I was in so much pain and thank God he opened the doors for me. Literally. I felt safe, calm and well taken care of. Also, it’s nice to text and have direct access to him. Phenomenal! It’s nice to have a professional that loves what he does and has compassion and caring practice.
Genuinely can’t say enough how grateful I am for Dr. Kupetz and his amazing team. I was in so much pain from a tooth that ended up needed a root canal - They were able to get me in the same day!!
