Great history tour of Glasgow and whisky. I had spent days in Glasgow before but after this tour, I was more excited about exploring and learning more about Glasgow. The guide introduced us to fun local pubs and whisky’s and gave us more to explore on our own.

Great afternoon walking in Glasgow and tasting whisky
We thoroughly enjoyed our Whisky Walking Tour in Glasgow with Neil. Neil was an excellent and knowledgable guide - both about Glasgow and whisky. He was friendly, informative and passionate about Glasgow and whisky. The three venues were well chosen, from the oldest pub to a whisky club. We had never been to Glasgow before and it was great to walk the city with a knowledgeable local. Neither of us normally drink whisky and it was great to learn the whisky distillation process, and the different tastes of whisky. We enjoyed our afternoon and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Glasgow. Raewyn and Dave

My husband and I joined Neill for the Whisky Pub Crawl in July, and I can’t recommend it enough! I absolutely loved walking around Glasgow and learning about whisky and its history and its history in Glasgow. The three stops along the way were all very enjoyable, and so were the samples of whisky we tried at each stop. The third one was definitely my favourite! Neill is so friendly and knowledgeable. It was such a fun way to spend an afternoon in Glasgow. I’m so glad we booked it!

I didn't really know what to expect when joining this tour... it was amazing and more. We hit 3 of the cities coolest whisky spots plus learned so much about the city's history in both the whisky industry but also just tidbits about the city in general. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn about Glasgow in a different way.

Whiskey Pub Crawl
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day out with the Rogue Pub Crawl team, the whisky's we sampled were delicious and the chat very informative, the final pub / venue was really nice and the last 2 whisky's we tasted in there were superb, i'm going to join that private members club to enjoy for ourselves in the near future

Had a great afternoon in Glasgow with Neill and a small group of tourists learning about the city, visiting some pubs and trying some whiskey. I appreciated that Neill clearly loves this city and wants visitors to appreciate it too, making the tour about more than just my priority, whiskey. ☺️
I especially appreciated visiting a woman owned pub and then also being able to visit the private whiskey club as that's something I've always wanted to do, but I am not a member. A great afternoon and something I encourage any whiskey,or anyone that what's to learn about Glasgow with an interesting twist to book.
I'll also note that I was alone and by the end of the tour we were all old friends, continuing to taste more whiskey after the tour has finished, so this is definitely good for the solo traveler.

Knowledge, easy going a whole lot of fun
We went along to Dram Jam at the Old Toll Bar. What an amazing night! Great atmosphere with like minded people. Neill and John were really knowledgeable and passionate about whisky and local suppliers. No worries if you're not a massive whisky fan either as their alternative cocktails were amazing! Id really recommend this as a night out.

Neil was an excellent guide. Very relaxed, friendly, knowledgeable. One of the best afternoons we’ve spent in Glasgow. Choice of pubs and whisky couldn’t have been any better. Would highly recommend.

The first pub, the oldest bar in Glasgow, was so cool that we came back later that night for a live band. We had a great time. Then, at the third bar, a private club, we had single cask malt whiskeys that you can get no other place. All in all, it was a fun, generous, and insightful afternoon. I recommend it fully. I suggest that you choose this over any other whiskey tour. Scottish Rogue has fewer five star reviews than the other companies because they've only been tours doing tours since February 2025. But don't count that against them. Enjoy their tour while you can, before they open their own place, switch to only doing group events, or some other step up in growth.

Neil was a friendly and personable tour guide; we much enjoyed an afternoon in Glasgow with him! He is passionate and knowledgeable about whiskey, and patient and friendly with those of us just learning. Neil highlighted spots of historical interest relating to Glasgow generally and the whiskey industry specifically, which we appreciated. From beginning to end Neill was professional, extremely knowledgeable, caring, fun, very aware of safety as we walked around and just a blast to have as a guide. We had rain here and there during the crawl and he adapted and made it fun! Neill is passionate about Whisky and it shows. I am a Whisky lover and it doesn't matter if you are just learning or you have a little more knowledge and experience with your share of drams over the years, he immediately makes you feel comfortable and wants you to have fun during the process.
