Sophie is so good at what she does!! I self-trained for a year then got VFS and the accompanying rehab which I feel actually set me back significantly and i didnt train for a while. then i worked with another coach that didnt work out and finally found a good one in Sophie. so it has been a real journey of several years and there's been a lot of anguish and dysphoria involved. i didnt think i could ever have a voice i'd be happy with. im so relieved and excited and grateful. i highly recommend Sophie for voice feminization coaching!!!

Sophie is a phenomenal voice coach! I was very dysphoric and self conscious about my voice before I started lessons with her. She motivated me when I needed pushing and reminded me to be kind to myself when I was pushing myself too hard. Today I am so much more confident about my voice and myself in general thanks to her! Okay, let’s start with confession time: I wrapped up my year of voice feminization sessions with Sophie over TWO months ago (thanks, ADHD 😅), and I’m only posting this now. SORRY Sophie !!!! Still, from day one, Sophie was an amazing person. Especially considering my appointments were chaotic and all over the place (hello, ADHD brain again!) but Sophie never made me feel bad about it (even though I did feel so so so guilty all the time). She was always so understanding and patient, which honestly made such a difference for me. 💗 I started out with almost zero confidence, but Sophie was always there to lift me up and help me believe in myself (You are NOT allowed to think badly of yourself with Sophie, it’s rule number 1 ! ) . There were days when I was really down and struggling with depression, and instead of just pushing through exercises, Sophie took the time to actually talk and listen. It’s quite amazing when someone is able to understand, just from context that I just needed something else that particular day. 🌷 Every session was a lot of fun for me (OK, not ALWAYS, as I can never fully get rid of my stupid anxiety but let’s say more fun than my baseline days) . But still, even when I was feeling awkward or unsure, Sophie kept finding things I had done well, and making me slowly more confident. Sometime toward the end of the year, someone I did not know said Maam to me on the phone for the first time, which made me realize how much progress had been made. ✨ If you’re thinking about voice lessons, I can’t recommend Sophie enough. She’s talented, compassionate, and just so lovely. (And there is like a super fun map of Europe behind her desk, so I could look for my house there when my ADHD brain started to lose focus (woops, I never told you I was doing that, sorry :p ). Still, thank you, Sophie, for believing in me even when I didn’t (actually, I’m forcing myself to still think of rule number 1, not allowed to think badly of myself!! Still not always easy but it’s a journey), Thank you AGAIN for your patience with my crazy wild schedule, and for always being there through every high and low. You’re honestly the best and I really hope I’ll get to talk to you again here and there ! 💕🌸

Would rate 6/5 stars if I could. Sophie helped me over several months to develop my voice. She's been great at teaching me concepts and putting things in a way I could understand. An impressive feat since I am bad at picking up new things. She's super supportive as well! Many times I needed emotional support with things in my life and she was there for me. Now I got far more confidence than when I started and have a voice I am happy with!

Sophie is an absolutely brilliant voice coach! She brings a lot of expertise, grace, and humor to her practice, and I've learned so much from her. Though she comes to each lesson with a plan, she adapts on-the-fly to whatever challenges you're experiencing with your voice with her deep knowledge of how voices work and what it means for a voice to sound 'feminine'. What I love most is that she gives you the tools necessary to understanding how to get to a voice that works for you, and how to tweak it as time goes by. I really enjoyed working with her, and could not recommend her more.

Sohpie was teaching my teenager how to find her voice. Sophie was well versed in teaching neurodivergent adolescents and ghestalt language learners. This was key in helping my teen gain confidence and communicate in a way that makes her feel empowered. Working with Sophie was easy as she was quick to respond to emails and changes in schedule. Sophie is absolutely the best transgender voice feminization coach I have ever worked with. She is the only one I have made real progress with, and it has been transformative progress. Before working with Sophie I had tried an SLP, an expensive group program, books, an old audio course, and YouTube videos. So many YouTube videos. None of it stuck, none of it really made sense to me. In contrast to those one-size-fits-all approaches, Sophie meets you where you are on your voice journey regardless of whether you are neurospicy, or don't have a North American accent, or are long out of your 20s. She teaches you the skills you need to get to where you want to be with your voice. Often without you realizing it, and always with understanding, sympathy, patience, and (where appropriate) humour. Voice training is hard, and it can be hard to stick with it. Sophie makes it fun, achievable, and measurable as you increase your understanding of and control over your voice with her. I cannot thank or recommend her enough for the well-grounded and thorough results that her unique approach provides.

Sophie was a real delight. Voice training sucks, inherently; it's an annoying process that's hard to explain and hard to understand and takes time to train muscles that you don't even know you have to work in ways they've never had to. There's no easy way to do it. But there is a fun way to do it! Sophie is warm, charming, very funny, and able to share lessons in ways that are silly and help you get out of your head, but also clear and memorable. And useful, which is of course the most valuable metric. I'm very happy with the voice she's helped me develop.

Sophie is absolutely incredible. I was recommended her services by 2 friends who also saw her and had wonderful results. Not only does she possess great skill in voice therapy and coaching, she also exhibits patience and understanding with her clients. There were times that my confidence in myself waned, and she was instrumental in getting me back on track. She did an incredible job helping to address multiple learning styles throughout the lessons (I'm a big visual learner, and lots of graphs/pictures help!) and use positive reinforcement even when I struggled. She's raised my confidence in myself 10-fold with the results, and I'm truly grateful for her skill and time. <3

Please do yourself a favor and reach out to Sophie for training. If you are not getting a lesson or exercise, she is very good at working in a way for you to understand it better. I think it's important to learn not only how to do something but how it works as well and she goes into that in a way that is easy to grasp. I started noticing results from her training incredibly quickly. If you can, take that dive and let her know you're interested in voice training.

Feeling overwhelmed by all the information about voice feminization online, I decided to start coaching with Sophie, and it was an amazing experience. In addition to breaking the process down into fun and manageable steps, she deeply understands the frustrations and impatience that transfemmes can feel, and she was so confident and reassuring in getting me back on track.
