When we moved here 5 months ago my daughter was nervous and upset because she left her friends. We signed her up for lessons at SAA and from the very first lesson the coaches and team welcomed her with joy and excitement! Now they have become a second family to her! She has really blossomed as a competitor and loves going to competitions with her new team. The coaches are knowledgeable and care about the kids! The team is kind and supportive!

Rob is by far one of the best in the industry. His knowledge is hands down the best in this area! He was patient and explained step-by-step everything he was doing to set up my bow. I truly enjoyed learning from him and his son. I will definitely be coming back for future work. All around great experience.
The level expertise, knowledge and willingness to be hands on really made this experience enjoyable. I originally went in for just a bow tune and to be sited. Being new to archery and not knowing much and having bad habits to say the least. He spent some time with me to show me proper form and technique also. My overall experience was superb.

Robert was great new to the sport so he helped me tune my bow correctly.Took his time and explained the reasoning for the adjustments.He showed me proper techniques to help me be a more accurate shooter.What was also great wasn't trying to sell me up on anything wasn't pressured to buy anything.I would recommend him for tuning or if you just need help to gain confidence in being a better shooter.

Awesome operation brought my bow in to have new strings and cables put on but Rob gave some guidance and did some tests befor we went and put new strings on come to find out strings are still good and my bow was way out of tune. Rob re tuned and paper tested my bow and its back and better befor highly recommend them and we’ll use them for as long as I own a bow. Thanks again for quick and quality work
Rob is an exceptional bow builder. My bow was way out of tune, and instead of trying to sell me anything, he took the time to walk me through how everything worked and helped me understand my own setup. He was able to fix and tune the bow back into shooting shape. Honest, knowledgeable, and truly passionate—highly recommend.

Excellent experience! I was in town on vacation and Rob not only set me up with a custom sight tape but also taught me a lot of things about archery that I did not know. People of all experience levels should go to Rob. Great range set up and Rob is a great technician and teacher.

Best bow shop in Southwest Florida hands down. Rob is at the top of the game when it comes to knowledge and quality bow work. I just started bow hunting two years ago and struggled to find anyone in the area that was seriously dedicated to bow tuning, arrow building etc. Rob is data driven and NOT opinion based, his focus is on results and not the popular trend. If you are looking for someone to take you to the next level in archery this is your guy. He walks through every step with you and ensures that you understand what it is your doing and why. Top notch service! I went in for a lesson and to have my bow looked at to make sure it was properly tuned. Rob got my bow working flawlessly, rest and timing were way off, draw length too short, built me custom arrows, mine were way too light, also custom sight tape. Rob is interested in teaching the sport of archery, not just teaching you how to fling arrows down range. Highly recommend anyone looking to be a better archer check them out. Also very family friendly, kids are welcome.

Me and my wife went and saw rob to get our equipment as well as our selves tuned up and ready. But we had no idea what a treat we were in for! Rob and his son Bowen both helped up so much with not only our equipment and shooting, but also our shot process and shooting structure. Rob took so much time with each of us making sure to not only tell us how to improve but also show us and let us actually apply it and fine tune ourselves. If I could give more stars I would.

I can't say enough good things. My daughter (13 yrs.) and I took a private lesson for her birthday and we walked away excited about the sport. The instructor was obviously knowledgeable but more importantly he was able to pass that knowledge on to adult and child alike in a beginner friendly manner. We're in the process of getting our own bows in order to continue this journey and look forward to working with them again.

Sarasota Archery Academy has no equal. Comfortable relaxed outdoor environment with a plethora of 3d targets to take aim. Instructor is highly knowledgeable from bow and arrow set up, to proper shooting mechanics. I've seen him work with children and adults, and he adjusts his tutelage accordingly. If your already into archery, or would like to get started, this is the place!
Best bow technician around! I purchased a bow 6 months ago and took it to another local bow shop to get set up and tuned. I had nothing but troubles with the bow afterwards. I continued to see inconsistent arrow flight even after going back to the same shop multiple times for correction. One afternoon with Sarasota Archery Academy fixed all my problems. My bow now shoots bullet holes and my confidence as an archer is growing. Don’t waste time like I did, make Sarasota Archery Academy your first stop.
