This was the perfect place for a mother/daughter Christmas spa day! The staff is so warm, friendly and accommodating! They were able to schedule our massages and facials at the same time and all of our services and clinicians were fantastic! Such a lovely and relaxing place. My daughter and I think this will have to become a yearly Christmas tradition!
I want to start by saying I really like Marcea Wiggins. She’s warm, attentive, and clearly knowledgeable, especially in her holistic, naturopathic approach to aesthetics. This review is difficult to write because I value her as a practitioner, but I also want to be transparent about my experiences for others considering more advanced treatments.
I’ve had three treatments at Santé PDX:
1. Earlier treatment (not PRP or biostimulator):
This was my first time trying something a bit more involved. While Marcea was confident in her approach and results were visible, the experience was harrowing and not something I’d recommend lightly unless someone is older or more familiar with intense treatments. The results didn’t last very long for me, which made the discomfort feel disproportionate.
2. Restylane biostimulator in nasolabial folds:
This is where I first began to feel a little uneasy. On one side, the injection went fine, but on the other side, the needle went deep and the product was deposited inside my mouth. Marcea acknowledged this but didn’t offer to adjust or compensate the dose. I still paid full price. It made me feel unsettled not just physically, but also financially.
3. Medium-surface area Derma PRP:
This was the procedure I was most excited about, especially because it’s more natural and uses your own plasma. Marcea was very knowledgeable and passionate about the benefits, and I felt good going in. But unfortunately, the blood draw was quite traumatic. Despite me mentioning I was likely cold and dehydrated, she proceeded with multiple attempts on my left arm, which left deep bruising and green discoloration that’s still visible 9 days later. I also experienced numbness because the tourniquet was left on for too long, something I repeatedly mentioned. Eventually, she switched arms and had to abandon the usual derma PRP kit, using what she described as “old technology” to suction the blood manually. The tray became messy with blood, and the entire process left me feeling a bit unsafe and anxious, especially since I get blood tests regularly and have had 4 prior PRP sessions elsewhere with no issues.
I did appreciate that she respected my request to use a cannula for the derma PRP injection itself, due to what happened in my previous visit.
In summary:
I really admire Marcea’s philosophy and presence. She’s clearly dedicated to her practice, and I think many people will benefit from her work. But for me, there were technical concerns across multiple visits that made me pause — from the misplaced injection to the lingering bruising and difficulty with blood draw. I’m sharing this thoughtfully, with care, because I hope it helps others navigate their own decisions.
Update 10/23/25:
I never received a call or DM from the office as mentioned in their response, and my main concern — the Restylane biostimulator injection that went through my mouth wall and into my mouth — was never addressed. I also found it disappointing that their reply implied I wasn’t hydrated enough for the PRP draw, when I had clearly mentioned this multiple times during the appointment and was told to proceed anyway. I really liked Marcea personally, but after spending over $4,000, the lack of accountability and follow-up left me disheartened.

I just received the Potenza radio frequency microneedling treatment yesterday by Mary Ann.
I was so impressed with her knowledge and the superb treatment I received. I am an RN in aesthetics and have received many many treatments over the years with different devices. The potenza wasn't as painful as other RFMN devices I've experienced. The spa is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming. We are moving to Texas but I may fly back to see Mary Ann due to the fact that she is very thorough and safe with her treatment plan.
I had an amazing massage from April today! Being a retired massage therapist myself I really appreciate the extra attention she gave to my scalp, which hardly any other therapists do except me. I also loved the essential oils she used and the hot rolled towel she put under my neck after the upper body work. All in all I highly recommend her and this spa for professional atmosphere and lovely facility. I’ll definitely be back!

I've been to this spa a few times and it never disappoints. My facials and massage have been wonderful. Lisa, Suzanne and Robert are all well skilled therapists. I can't rave enough about the hot tub, steam room and cold plunge. I was the only one in the spa area and locker room! It's a wonderful experience from when you walk in until you leave. I ended up going to Sante for one reason and only one reason... my favorite massage therapist now works there. I have been following April Lee for 6 years now, and wherever she goes, I go. She's that good. April was the first massage therapist that I felt at ease with. Comfortable, relaxed. And her massage is perfect! Melts all your stress away. Sante scored when she joined their team for sure. Truly, April is the absolute BEST.
I had an amazing facial with the lead esthetician Robert Tellez. He was fabulous at explaining each step of the process and making me feel comfortable the whole time. Not only did I receive an amazing facial that left me glowing but I left feeling educated about my skin/skincare. I was gifted this facial from my boss but I would hands down pay my own money to come here time and time again. The front staff was very sweet and helpful also ! Thank you Robert I truly appreciate your knowledge and talent.

I booked the half day pause package which includes 60 minutes in the soaking pools and sauna, plus 60 minute massage and 60 minute facial. I absolutely loved melting in the spa and enjoyed Sante's lil sanctuary in the middle of the city! I loved unwinding next into the massage and flowing to the facial! Everything was perfect and magical!
I absolutely love this spa! I have done their soaking pool and cold plunge as well as a massage and I cannot recommend it enough. My masseuse, April, was great- she and I discussed any areas of concern I had before the massage, and I feel like she really listened to me. The facilities were luxurious, and the setting of the soaking pool is so stunning, you would have no idea you were in downtown Portland. I will definitely be back!

This is the best spa I've ever been to, specifically for facials and skincare. I have very sensitive acne prone skin and they always use the right treatments to soothe my breakouts and make me glow!!! I HIGHLYY recommend their hylaronic acid serum, it is the holy grail for glass skin and eliminating fine lines. This is coming from someone who has tried every skin care brand on earth. I never leave reviews but I am moving away from Portland this year and will dearly miss SANTÉ (and my hylaronic acid). If you want a facial in Portland you have to get their signature!!! It's a must!! I wish I could leave a million five star reviews!! :)
Hidden Gem of Relaxation and Rejuvenation , Santé Aesthetics
I happened to wander into this beautiful historic brick building in Portland, and what an incredible discovery it was! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the loveliest receptionist, who made me feel instantly welcome. She gave me a wonderful tour of the entire facility, and I was absolutely blown away.
Santé Aesthetics offers a wide range of natural, rejuvenating treatments, from advanced skincare and laser therapies to some of the most incredible wellness amenities I’ve ever seen. Their soaking jacuzzi, cold plunge, steam room, and UV light therapy room create a truly magical space for relaxation and self-care. And getting to explore the space was just as enchanting, there’s a beautiful staircase that gracefully takes you from the upper level down to the lower spa area, making the transition feel like stepping into a retreat.
Outside, the courtyard is just as stunning. I’m not sure if they use it for special gatherings or if it’s simply a peaceful spot for employees to enjoy their lunch, but either way, it adds to the overall charm of the place. Every inch of Santé Aesthetics is thoughtfully designed and simply beautiful.
As amazing as this place is, it does seem to be on the higher end price-wise compared to other spas and aesthetic centers in the area. However, that still didn’t take away from the feeling I had when I entered the spa. The experience, atmosphere, and attention to detail make it worth every penny.
Beyond the treatments, what truly sets Santé Aesthetics apart is its calming energy. It’s luxurious yet warm and inviting, a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. Whether you’re looking for a day of pampering or targeted skin and wellness treatments, this place has it all.
I absolutely love this hidden gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to indulge in self-care. Santé Aesthetics is a must-visit.

I had such a strange experience here that I wouldn't go back for services. Maybe for the spa, but there are plenty of other spas in Portland.
I saw one of their massage therapists for a few months since it was close to where I lived. Apparently he was the only one there who took insurance (they don't make this clear on their website at all) so my options were limited. A few times I got an odd sort of vibe from him, but overall he was professional so I let it go. The massages were fine.
My last session with him was cancelled and I was not notified. I did have it written down, so when I didn't get an appointment reminder I had to call them to confirm whether I had an appointment or not. Very strange that, for a business that makes and changes appointments regularly, they wouldn't notify a customer of a cancellation. They told me that the massage therapist was no longer employed there, and they cancelled all of his clients - again, without telling any of us? I was also told that they would call back to reschedule with another provider. I never heard anything from them again.
Communication with a client is a very basic cornerstone of running a business. It's pretty silly that I wasn't ever notified when my appointment was cancelled and never followed up with after being told they'd reach out. Guess they don't mind losing a client. Bye, Sante.

Love this spa! It’s a lovely getaway in the heart of downtown Portland. The facility is beautiful. Secluded hot tub, cold plunge and steam room. They do a great job at providing a private experience when you soak. Every time I’ve been there it’s been just me and my boyfriend using the facilities. I get a facial here every couple of months. Suzanne is the BEST - absolutely magic hands! The facial is almost like a facial and mini massage in one. Great value and your skin will thank you!! Staff is lovely as well. 1000% recommend this spa, it’s the best in Portland!!
