Wonderful elephant rescue home
A wonderful experience - the best elephant rescue camp by far. We’ve visited many elephant camps and rescues across Thailand, and this one truly stands out. Maria and Lucky are absolutely adorable, and we learned so much during our visit. Highly recommended and definitely worth visiting if you come to Koh Samui. The staffs are amazing, knowledgeable, and provide such warm hospitality.
The entire experience was absolutely incredible. The guides were incredibly enthusiastic and deeply passionate about their work and the elephants. They were super knowledgeable, and it was clear they did everything possible to ensure the experience was pleasant, informative, and respectful. From the initial pick-up to the final drop-off, the service and organization were flawless.

Das Team der Auffangstation ist super und leitet toll durch den Tag durch. In der Einführung erfährt man viel über die Schicksale der einzelnen Tiere, was sehr berührend ist. Nachdem man das Futter für die Tiere vorbereitet hat, durfte man es an sie verfüttern. Die Tiere schienen dabei sehr ruhig und entspannt. Danach wurden sie auf 10 Hektar Land gebracht, wo sie sich frei bewegen können. Auch die Gehege der Tiere sind bei der Anfahrt ersichtlich und sehen artgerecht aus.
Insgesamt hatten wir zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl, dass die Tiere zu etwas gedrängt werden. Das Tierwohl steht an erster Stelle, was uns bei der Buchung sehr wichtig war. Große Empfehlung an alle, die Elefanten aus nächster Nähe beobachten möchten aber das möglichst ethisch.

Really cool experience
It was a truly wonderful trip!We were picked up promptly from our accommodation and taken to the reserve. There, we received a detailed explanation of how the camp operates, and each elephant was introduced to us with its name, age, and history. We found this very impressive. After this introduction, we had the opportunity to prepare food for the elephants. Here, too, we were given a clear explanation of why we needed each ingredient.After a feeding session, during which we were allowed to get very close to the elephants, we had an encounter with these gentle giants in a free-range pasture and jungle, followed by a mud bath. This, too, was very impressive and informative.Back at the camp, we enjoyed a delicious lunch and then had the opportunity to watch an elephant bathing before being taken back.In conclusion:We had a truly wonderful time here and have the feeling that the staff here want to live in harmony with the elephants and not as people who are superior to them. All questions were answered openly and honestly.

An exceptional, educational tour
A well recommended tour, staff really care about the elephants and have excellent knowledge. A more hands on tour with making the food and then feeding the elephants, seeing them roaming free and bathing. An excellent afternoon, really recommend it. Thank you to all the staff.

Fabulous experience
The sanctuary was beautiful. The elephants were so well looks after and it as all about their care. We did make their food and feed them, which was amazing. We watched them in their natural environment and having a bath in the pool. The day the so enjoyable and the keeper were so knowledgable. would definitely recommend.
