I purchased an older home and needed a lot of smaller projects done with it. And I unfortunately messed up my knee and was unable to do any of them. I found sam online, and He came out, gave me an estimate on the projects and proceeded to do them. He is efficient, knowledgeable and completed everything in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. He was upfront about what his charges were. Some people I'm sure would think he's not the cheapest.But then you're not getting the best. Thankful that I found him and I have many more projects for him.
I contacted Sam through Angie's List and he responded very promptly. I had a variety of odd tasks and even needed his expertise in selecting appropriate hardware for some shelves, which he ordered for me after giving me some options. He was communicative, timely, and did a fantastic job. Throughout the process, he asked if I was happy with the end product and even showed me a few tips for how to fix common household issues myself. Will definitely be saving his contact info for future projects.

Sam provided outstanding workmanship and customer service. He came to look at my project near the end of his day and actually ended up finishing it right then and there. Amazing. Highly recommend and will absolutely be using Sam’s Handywork in the future.

Very pleased with the work done by Sam. He is professional, detail oriented and a good communicator. I like that he pays attention to the small things but is efficient and timely in the completion of his work. Solution oriented. Project was reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Gary it was awesome meeting you and that was overall just a great experience. Our communication together was on point regarding cost, materials, and project scheduling.. it went smooth and it was fun to use the existing concrete for the mailbox to save us both a bunch of time. It's always fun to work in the hills of Dubuque too.

Sam responded promptly to my text messages, showed up on time. He laid out a drop cloth to catch the rotten wood and screws . Took the swing set apart removed all the pieces. Made sure everything was picked up and clean. Then said “the job went quicker then I expected, is there any small job I can do”. WOW .. he then added a small handrail from our deck to the lawn. Again I say WOW. Very unusual in this day and age. I asked for his business card and will definitely use Sam’s Handywork again.

[Member Name Removed] and her husband were a pleasure to work with. They had great communication throughout the job and were very organized with the Items to install. I was even able to help them with a handful of extra tasks to save us both some time and travel cost! At the end, they came up with price for the added tasks which was the exact number I was going to say. This was such a feel good job and I'll be happy to return.
Amazing, came early and did exceptional work and looked at other areas of the house and accomplished it quickly for a great price!
