I went to Salt and Barrel on Saturday for brunch with my family for my birthday. The ambience was really nice and our waiter Manny was so nice and funny. He was very attentive as well. The food was UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS . Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing. We cannot wait to go back for dinner next time.
We had a great night out with friends! Sat at a high top in the corner of the bar with a great view of the place. Our server Michael was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating. One of the best servers I’ve had anywhere in years. The drinks were perfect, oysters fresh and food tasty. A++
Overall, I had a pretty good time at Salt & Barrel. The food was really solid, and Eli, the bartender, was definitely a highlight — super friendly and made us feel welcome.
On the flip side, the management team, which seemed to be 2 young ladies one with blonde hair and one black hair, had a bit of an odd vibe. At one point, they blonde haired lady started moving chairs around right by where we were sitting without even a heads-up or a simple “excuse me.” It just felt a bit off, especially since you kind of expect management to set the tone for hospitality. Outside of that, it’s a decent place and worth a visit for the food and the bar service
