An excellent food tour in Ho Chi Minh City that we really enjoyed.
Emma and Will are very serious, dynamic, and professional. They are excellent drivers, very attentive, careful, and confident. Jeanne: It was my first time riding a motorbike, at 70 years old, but Emma reassured me and I really enjoyed it. They treated us to delicious meals, juices, and desserts (10 in total). We brought back a banh mi made with whole-grain fresh bread to the hotel; it was my favorite of the 10. We highly recommend them! John & Jeanne from France.
Highly recommend if you’re new to HCM
Such a fantastic food tour! Kelly picked us up from our hotel, and then we walked across to our first stop. We made a total of 6 stops with 4x mains, 2x desserts, 3x snacks and 1x drink. Most dishes were local, unique and new to us, and all super delicious. Kelly also shared some cool facts around the neighbourhood. highly recommend if you’re new to Vietnam and want to try dishes other than Pho and Banh Xeo.
Walking food tour
My wife and I spent a delightful afternoon with our guide Emma, she was informative, attentive and safe, which was greatly appreciated in the chaotic neighborhood traffic, we did the 1:00pm tour which included more than enough food to satisfy even the hungriest for both lunch and diner. There’s no way we could have ever have found these local spots.
The war experienced firsthand

Absolutely worth it
Absolutely worth it Really immersive experience and one of the best ways to understand the history of the Cu Chi tunnels. The visit is a little fast, but you still get to hear a lot of stories and really feel the atmosphere of the place. The biggest highlight was our guide, Jack. He’s a teacher and historian, and his family history and own military experience made everything feel much more real and personal. The site can be busy, but our small group made the experience much better. Perfect for anyone curious about Vietnamese history and okay with a bit of walking and some very tight tunnels haha.
Fantastic food tour
Absolutely loved our tour with Emma and Andy. They were both friendly and chatty and very happy to take us around. The food was delicious and plenty of it (even a full bahn mi if you want!). Highly recommend doing this walking tour, you will feel welcome and taken care of and full of amazing food.
Fun&Joy
Tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide - Huy, was well-known about the place, customs and traditions, local life. Huy made our trip very comfortable and low-stress: he contacted us in advance and picked us on time. That was a real joy! We highly recommend a tour and Huy as a guide!
Best experience in Mekong Delta
This has been my favourite tour from Ho Chi Minh City. The experience was truly amazing and you get all that's said. Kero was the best tour guide, so knowledgeable, dynamic and kind. He took very lovely pictures of us and gave enough time for each of the experiences. The only thing I could advise to the company it'd be to give more time on the boat ride beceuse it was the best part, truly lovely and calm, so I wish it lasted longer. Other than that, please don't miss out on this opportunity.
My guide was Will and pretty much all the dishes I tried were new! As someone from America who eats Vietnamese regularly it was really great to see the real food in such a convenient manner. Will was easy to talk to through the whole tour and let me into the insights of Vietnam as a whole as well. Would definately recommend for anyone to learn more about the amazing variety here.

I got to try a great variety of delicious local foods and visit places around Ho Chi Minh City that I probably would not have discovered on my own. Emma also shared interesting information about the food, culture, and city throughout the tour. I had a great time and would highly recommend this tour.

J’ai également beaucoup apprécié les explications, les anecdotes et la découverte de la ville tout au long de la balade. Mon guide était très sympathique, attentionné et professionnel. Eine super Tour mit Kelly!
Diese Ausflugszeit war wunderbar. Wir hatten eine gute Reiseführerin „ Kelly“. Sie hat alles wunderbar erklärt und hat uns an den leckeren, vietnamesischen und kulinarischen Highlights teilnehmen lassen. Die ganze Zeit waren wir bei den Lokals. Dieser Ausflugstipp ist sein Geld wert und wenn wir noch Zeit hätten, würden wir es auf jeden Fall wiederholen. Wir können das nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Eine schöne Zeit jenseits der Touristen wurde uns geschenkt.

We booked a private Mekong Delta tour with Joy Journeys for two families, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. What we loved most was that it didn’t feel touristy at all. Instead of just following the typical tourist route, we had lots of little adventures, explored local places, saw how people really live, and experienced the Mekong in a much more authentic way. We had so many fun and unexpected moments along the way, and with two families and children, the private tour was absolutely the right choice. Everything felt relaxed and flexible, and we could enjoy the day at our own pace. A special thank you to Kero, who made the whole experience even better. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and really made sure we had a great time. You could tell he genuinely cared about giving us a memorable experience rather than simply taking us from one tourist stop to another. Huy was a great guide on our tour. It is indeed less touristy and a nice experience. From my point of you the experience in the Mekong delta could be extended

Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, authentic, and traditional, and they took us to local spots we never would have discovered on our own. Kelly, Ted, and Nam were so enthusiastic, engaging, and knowledgeable, which made the whole experience truly special. We had an incredible time and couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
