Our 5 day, 4 night trek with Abdellah was a once in a lifetime trip, he and his team (a cook and a wonderful guy who was in charge of tea making, dromedary care and guiding us across the vast desert) were amazing, so welcoming and friendly. The trek wasn't without it's faults, we are experienced travellers having lived and worked in Africa for nearly 20 years so we are used to the rawness of the continent, however we had expected to be travelling the near on 8 hour (ended up nearer to 12 hours on the way to the start due to landslides and snow on the Tizi n'Tichka pass) in slightly superior transport than the shared local yellow taxi (with their lack of seat belts) and local people hoping in and out of the 7 seater with myself and my wife taking up the rear back seat/boot area. That aside (and the fact that we had to complete the same journey back without Abdellah as he rightly chose not to come all the way back to Marrekesh with us) we did have a wonderful time, the taxi was actually a great cultural experience too and one that we wouldn't have missed (looking back!).
Our days trekking were awesome, just the five of us and four dromedarys out there in the wilds, not seeing a soul, experiencing the stillness, travelling a total of 45kms on foot, camping under the stars. We endured a full on sand storm on the last day but the team helped us cope with the situation very well. The food was great, we are vegan and they catered for our dietary requirements very well, and the tea brewing and drinking was always an absolute pleasure to be part of.
We would recommend this trek to those who love the wild adventure, it's not a package holiday destination or experience that attracts the masses, which is what we always look for and it hit that in the right amount. We wish Abdellah all the best with his future tours and business.

Randonnée fantastique dans le désert avec des guides nomades
Abdellah est un guide incroyablement sympathique. J'ai réservé un voyage de 5 jours dans le désert avec lui et le voyage était incroyable. J'ai pu voir les grandes dunes et nous avons fait un tour à dos de chameau. La nourriture était super savoureuse et les camps étaient super aussi. Le soir, nous étions assis ensemble et j'ai pu apprendre à connaître un peu la culture et la musique. Mon prochain voyage dans le désert sera certainement à nouveau avec lui et je le recommande vivement : )

J'ai rejoint une retraite de yoga de 5 jours avec Saharavibe et ce fut une expérience inoubliable. La combinaison du yoga dans le superbe désert de Mhamid, de la marche à travers les dunes et les oasis, et de la rencontre avec une famille nomade l'a rendu vraiment unique. Tout était parfaitement organisé des tentes confortables, des repas délicieux, et une équipe locale chaleureuse et attentionnée.
