Wood floor restoration We have a solid wood floor in our living room that has been down since 2007. It has been exposed to grandchildren, our dog and many trips back and forth from our garden. We also get the sun in the room as its faces south and hence it was badly bleached in places. It needed some TLC or we would have to buy a carpet to cover it. Having read the reviews about Safe Space Cleaning I contacted them and they came out to give us a quote for sanding and re-varnishing the living room floor. They explained carefully what was involved and we decided to go ahead. From our perspective the hard bit was clearing the large room of furniture. Our sofas had to be put on the patio and covered with tarpaulins for a couple of days. When Stu, Paul and Kirsteen arrived they were able to get straight on with the work and we cannot thank them enough. They have made a fantastic job of our floor and we are delighted with the result. We would recommend them to anyone who is thinking about having a wood floor restored. One word of caution - this is not a cheap option but the quality of the work is excellent. You get what you pay for and in our case a top class result.

Wooden floor sanding and restoration Safe Space have restored my very tired and battered wooden flooring. Worked really hard sanding it back to the bare wood, I decided not to stain it as it looked so good. Went for a Matt finish and the flooring looks amazing. The team were highly skilled came recommended and I’m so pleased we went with them. They worked relentlessly to get the stubborn previous wax/lacquer off, sorted indents from a poor previous sand by a different company to get the floor like glass, they literally never stopped all day. I would highly recommend using safe space from start to end the process was seamless, easy to communicate with, kept informed all the way and completed the job ahead of time. Thanks so much for a brilliant service.
