Since birth my 5 yo has had compromised eyesight and has been under the care of a large NHS London teaching hospital, with mixed results. A recent eye operation was suggested but I was left requiring much more information as to the pros and cons than I was getting. A family recommendation to see Sachin Patel was suggested. It was an amazing appointment, the eye tests on the state of art machines really made me feel confident in the results, I was given the time to ask the questions needed to understand the options available to my son, and Sachin also gained the trust of my son to be able to conduct the tests, which isn’t always the case. This appointment was like night and day by comparison to our hospital appointments, and most importantly has given me the confidence to know what medical path to follow. I can’t recommend enough.

I saw Mr. Sachin Patel, an optometrist, at Safarian & Simon Opticians for Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment for dry eyes while visiting London from the United States. From the outset, Sachin was extremely professional and thorough in his assessment. He took the time to carefully review my symptoms and medical history. He patiently answered all of my questions, explained the rationale for IPL treatment, and clearly outlined the treatment process so I knew exactly what to expect. I also appreciated that he informed me of the latest advances in treatment for dry eye disease. In addition, all of the staff at Safarian & Simon Opticians were welcoming, friendly, and highly professional, which made the overall experience seamless. The office itself was also exceptionally clean, modern, and well-organized. Overall, my experience was excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend Sachin Patel to anyone seeking treatment for dry eyes.

I’ve been a long-standing admirer of Lindberg, but had struggled to find a trustworthy London-based dealer who could offer the level of expertise and service I was looking for. I found exactly that with Navin. From the very beginning, he was professional, friendly, honest and reliable. He took the time to understand my preferences, talked me through the pros and cons of different options, paid close attention to every detail. Communication throughout was excellent, with regular updates on my order, and everything arrived much faster than I expected. What made the experience particularly special was being able to enjoy the full Lindberg process of creating a pair from scratch. Navin’s knowledge, precision and genuine passion for what he does were clear at every stage. If you’re considering Lindberg and want someone you can genuinely trust to guide you through the process, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Navin and his team. Safe to say Navin delivered, and I’m a very happy Lindberg owner!🤘👏 Also worth mentioning is their extensive Lindberg collection, with plenty of frames available to try on and compare before making a decision.

I recently visited Safarian and Simon for a comprehensive eye examination and contact lens assessment, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. The eye examination itself was incredibly thorough and detailed. Real time was taken to look at the overall health of my eyes, with everything explained clearly along the way. I genuinely felt looked after throughout. The knowledge and expertise on offer is outstanding, and I came away with a much better understanding of my eye health. I also received excellent recommendations on the glasses and contact lenses best suited to me. My son broke the hinge of the arm on my glasses and I took it to 4 stores who all said they couldn’t fix it and I would need new frames except these guys. I couldn’t believe it, they really are amazing and also reasonable in price and great service. Highly recommend them!!

Finally getting round to leaving a review! I've been having treatment for my ocular rosacea/MGD here since last Autumn and I'd happily recommend. All the staff are extremely friendly, and Sach is a very well informed clinician who patiently answers my many many questions! I've undergone a full course of IPL and also gland probing, and am now in the maintenance phase. Though I'm young-ish, I think my eyes were on the worse end of the spectrum having dealt with lots of untreated styes and ocular rosacea flares during lockdown. This means my treatment/recovery process has maybe felt a bit more complicated than most but I'm now feeling some more consistent relief from dryness! The treatment is absolutely worth pursuing, but for some the journey may be longer and more taxing than others... at the very least it just feels like a very good investment for my long term gland health, and Sach has been super informative about the full holistic approach to maintaining healthy eyes which is hugely appreciated.

I’ve had a great experience at Safarian and Simon Opticians, St. John’s Wood. The eye examination was comprehensive and very detailed. The change in my prescription was dealt with very promptly as well. Most importantly everyone at Safarian & Simon is really lovely, helpful and professional. I found Safarian & Simon through Google search and I was given appointment very quickly. Dr Sachin have seen me for overall eye health & specifically dry eyes. He have told me to not jump on IPL directly & keep the treatment simple on initial level. He is the first who told me my eyes were straining & I was recommended digital glasses. For my extremly itchy eye lids he have prescribed my an cream which I have been using for 4 weeks now & it significantly reduced sumptoms. He did my eye glands scan & reassured they are not that bad but lately may require therapy.I have ongoing ocular surface inflammation & Dr Sachin told me we will be working on all symptoms one by one. Further more looking forward for followup in next few weeks. Overall very good, comfortable environment. The staff is very cooperative. I have called many times for new symptoms update and they answered every time with patience. I really appreciate they cooperation.
