My husband was at Sacred Grounds and died 2 days after being there. The people , nurses, cooks, etc. Was the best place I have ever been. My spouse had Dementia and they treated him and me like family. They made it possible that I could devote to my husband. Family could come in anytime and they actually cooked for me
I wish i Was rich because this place is a God sent!! Please if anyo e has a love one that is dying this is the best place ever. Gods angels were everywhere at Sacred
When my mom needed more care than we could give her at-home we took a tour of Sacred Ground and the place/people immediately gave us a warm, cozy and comforting feeling.
There was a part of me that a bit hesitant given that it is openly faith-based (my family is mostly non-religious) but besides one unfortunate time that we were able to overlook, no one made us feel like an outsider or forced any views on us.
The nurses and caretakers were amazing and brought my mom a lot of peace/comfort. They also went above and beyond when it came to providing care that typically isn't provided in hospice but my mom absolutely needed. Highly recommend and we are so fortunate to have a place like Sacred Ground. Thank you!

We are so thankful to have been able to be there for your mom and your family.
Thank you all so much for care and love provided for our mother over the past week. It gives us great comfort knowing she spent her last days in such a wonderful, peaceful setting. Everyone, staff and volunteers, went above and beyond to help us in what I hope was an uncommon situation. My brother and I appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts. You are truly angels doing God's work. Recommend 100%!!

It was our honor to be here for all of you. God bless you !
My family used this facility to assist with my mothers transition and her subsequent passing. It was the best decision we could have made and I am so grateful to the loving caring staff who treated my mother with such dignity and compassion. They really helped us navigate such a difficult time in our lives by showing empathy, compassion and love. Thank you to everyone at Sacred Heart!
This is a very nice facility and worth the price, considering that our loved one was leaving us so quickly. They provided dignity and respect to our passing loved one and our family. They are Christians and have Bible verses posted everywhere. We appreciate how they honor God. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower, recliner sofa, and dinette table in the room. They play nice music through the facility and room. The room had a nice view. There are also snacks and drinks (coffee, water, soda) to have for free during the stay. The staff is very nice. You can come and go as you need. Friends were also able to easily come.
My mother's time at Sacred Ground Hospice was very short - basically one day. I was pleased with their care provided during that short period and gladly recommend them if you need hospice services. A very caring staff that was easy to work with - even from distance over the phone prior to my arrival. I think it would be quite difficult to find a better hospice.
Sacred Ground was a God send for us when we were looking for a place for our mother. She was at a place where she was beyond memory care, and we didn't think a nursing home was the right place/ fit for her, not to mention most of the nursing homes were not up to par in our opinion. Upon our first step into Sacred Ground to look it over, we felt the peace in the atmosphere and the love from the staff for the residents. Each nurse that took care of mom was absolutely wonderful!! It takes a very special person to work in the setting of someone's last days on this Earth. I was notified when they believed mom was near the end so I could come. I didn't make it in time, but they told me on the phone they were praying and singing hymns for her. I truly believe this would not have happened in a hospital or nursing home. This is a very special place to our family now.
Sacred Ground Hospice House is a treasure of comfort and peace. While in the hospital my 90 year old mother was so sad, stressed and anxious. The moment the staff at Sacred Ground took my mother to her room she was immediately relaxed and peaceful.
Compassion, genuine care and understanding is what you and your loved one will receive here. A true Blessing!
Absolutely the best place. They took care of my mother in her final weeks and did an incredible job. It very quiet and peaceful and the grounds are beautiful. If your loved one is going into hospice I highly recommend Sacred Ground. Thank you for taking care of my mother, she was very happy there!
The care is like no other. The staff went far above and beyond, cleaning mom up when the lady from Hospice was too busy since she was going on vacation. Some people are good at their job like the ones at Sacred Ground, others are not Tennova Hospice. Only gripe I have is in a time so precious and full of stress, you pay for a week. Mom lasted 14 hours. Prorating maybe two or three days at a time could ease what the family will be dealing with. But thats the pencil pushers and policy makers. The staff here you will never find better.
Losing a loved one is an indescribably painful experience, and navigating the final stages of life can be overwhelming for both the patient and their families. Our family recently had the privilege of experiencing the exceptional care provided by Sacred Ground Hospice House, during our father's battle with colon cancer, and we cannot express enough gratitude for their incredible support.
From the moment our father was admitted, the staff demonstrated an unparalleled level of compassion, professionalism, and dedication. They treated our father not just as a patient, but as an individual with dignity and respect, ensuring his comfort and peace were always the top priority. Every nurse went above and beyond to manage his pain effectively, maintain his comfort, and ensure his final days were as serene as possible.
Beyond the exceptional medical care, what truly set Sacred Ground apart was their care for our entire family. They understood that losing a loved one is devastating and extended their compassion to us, offering emotional support, guidance, and a comforting presence. They patiently answered all our questions, provided clear explanations, and created a supportive environment where we felt heard and understood. They allowed us to be fully present with our father, knowing that he was in the most capable and caring hands.
The importance of such care in the last moments of a loved one's life cannot be overstated. Their dedication allowed us to focus on cherishing our remaining time with our father, without the added worry about his care.
We are eternally grateful for the extraordinary care, empathy, and professionalism demonstrated by every member of the Sacred Ground team. They provided invaluable support during life's most challenging transitions. We wholeheartedly recommend Sacred Ground Hospice to any family seeking compassionate and exceptional end-of-life care.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for taking such incredible care of our father and our family.
The staff was always attentive. They had great knowledge which they shared to clients and family members. My mom was VERY well taken care of. I felt at ease going home for the night to get some rest. The family atmosphere was a blessing. We were so blessed to have sacred ground as an option for our Mother.
