Dr Takenishi is very kind and thorough and explained why my shoulder was so painful. He said it was frozen shoulder which I have had for 5 months and PT not helping. He suggested the PRP shot and I am going to get it. Hopefully it can speed the healing of my shoulder.

Doc was upbeat, confident and reassuring about pre and post procedural aspects. The hip injection was uncomfortable for the 1st day, but Tylenol and rest remedied the condition rapidly. This is my second day after the PRP injection and my hip feels significantly better- much better than before the procedure!

Dr. Takenishi has been so great with my torn hamstring injury! He is friendly and knowledgeable, and I feel very comfortable during my appointments. He suggested the PRP injection to me as an alternative to surgery for a chronic injury, in case its outcome allows me to avoid surgery. I live out of the area, and he and his staff have been very accommodating with my appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Takenishi if you or someone you know is in need an orthopedic surgeon!!
