This was my first pair of glasses, and I’ll admit I acted a bit dramatic when I picked them up - the nice lady was very patient while I questioned why anyone would want to see like this.
She kindly explained I just needed time to adjust, and she was absolutely right. A week later, the difference is incredible. Everything is so sharp and detailed, it’s like seeing in HD for the first time in a long time.
They even followed up a week later to make sure I was doing okay with them, which I really appreciated. Excellent service. Many star review. Would recommend sight.

So grateful for Dr Simon. He’s been my eye doctor since I moved into the neighbourhood. Yesterday I got some toxic plant sap in my eye, and Dr Simon was able to see me quickly and helped resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. He was also generous with his billing . If I’d had to go to emergency, I would have been in pain for hours! Thanks to the team at Saanich Optometry!

I have gone to Dr. Daisy Tao for glasses for years, and always found her knowledgeable, friendly and easy to communicate with. She recently fitted me in just before a long weekend for help with a stye which was developing on one eyelid. I thank her for her caring and responsiveness!

Dr. Simons and the rest of the team are all so wonderful! They are super helpful, informative, explains what’s going on with my eye health and very kind. They make sure you get quality care and shows you your options for glasses and contacts. It was my first time there today as a new client and definitely having this place as my primary optometrist from now on! I would recommend anyone looking for a new optometrist to go see Dr.Simons and the team!

I tell everyone about my positive experiences with Dr. Chin and his staff. In my opinion this is the only place in town to go. I have extremely tricky prescriptions and have seen numerous Optometrists and so far Dr. Chin is the only one that has been able to get my prescription perfect! His staff are wonderful and supportive in helping pick out lens that suit your face and personality. I also appreciate that visiting your Optometrist is not only about seeing clearly it’s about eye health and you can’t underestimate the importance of ensuring you have healthy eyes free of disease. I’m not alone in my opinions of Dr. Chin. My elderly relatives all see him as well as my husband and everyone agrees he is tough to beat! His prices are competitive as well if that’s a consideration. Good parking, located near London Drugs. All round amazing service provided.

Called to book an eye exam and contact lense fitting as a new patient, and was only told after the eye exam that I had to come back another day for a contact lense fitting.
When i came back and paid $50 out of pocket for the lense fitting, i was told within 5 minutes that I would need to reschedule when my fingernails were shorter. I’m very disappointed that this was not mentioned or addressed before I took time out of my day to learn from a professional how to put in contacts.
