David and the team truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing vacation, working extra as our RV had the bumper torn off the morning we were supposed to pick it up. He drove hours to get the needed parts and make sure we could go on our way. The Kronos 590 was AMAZING and had tons of storage space for two people. The lift bed was fantastic so we didn't have to make up the bed each day and incredibly comfy, we got great sleep. Also was small enough that it wasn't intimidating for these first time RVers!
Best family holiday and experience
First ever RV experience and we found the perfect place to rent it with RV Rentals and David with his lovely assistant who cheered up our hungry kids with a Kit-Kat :) After a perfect explanatory round of the RV (even though you can find all the explanations by David himself on youtube, which is handy as it gives you a great idea of what to expect), we set off for a week's tour through Scotland. The van quickly became our own little home even if it took a day or two of getting used to driving-size, right hand drive-and we did nick the left hand mirror as David predicted many do :) I recommend taking the value pack which includes towels, linen, chairs and extra insurance amenities. We loved it as did our two young boys as it's like driving around in your own tree-cabin on wheels. Scotland and it's magic made the whole trip perfect.

Great experience l
David was the perfect host,explained everything we needed to know about the high spec,very clean motorhome before we started our adventure exploring Scotland. The motorhome fitted our requirements for myself and wife. Living in the motorhome for the week with all home comforts, it a superb way and a great experience travelling Scotland ,slept better than in my own bed.
I would definitely recommend David, his team and motorhomes and thank them for making our week's holiday in Scotland a special time

So glad we organised this last minute trip. The RV is amazing! It is our first time renting one as we normally go in a tent but during winter this will be our go to! We were 2 adults with our 8 month old and 2 sausage dogs. We went for the 4 man and it was great having a door between living and bedroom space for when our baby went to sleep earlier and to keep the dogs out too. Shower and toilet also great.
The van was super clean and had all the basics for cooking etc. Being winter and -4 at night we did use the heating to keep baby warm and it was as good as being in a flat! We plugged in at a site too and all was easy and straight forward. We didn’t use them but van has table chairs for warmer months. Apple car play was great and my partner is used to driving a van but it was nice touch it was an automatic with cruise control with all safety alerts to keep us right.
Dave is super knowledgeable, friendly and only a message away if we got stuck with any problems. We are local and would definitely hire again! Thanks again for your lovely service.
Alquilamos una autocaravana compacta 590 con chasis Ford Transit. La autocaravana estaba prácticamente nueva y el precio era muy competitivo respecto a lo que hay por la zona. Disfrutamos mucho de la autocaravana y de las bellas tierras escocesas. Nada que objetar en cuanto al alquiler. A nuestro regreso hubo un malentendido sobre la hora de llegada a causa del traductor de Google 🫣 y tuvimos que esperar para entregar la autocaravana. El tiempo se nos echaba encima para ir en transporte público hasta el aeropuerto para nuestro regreso, pero David fue muy amable y nos llevó al aeropuerto. De no ser así habríamos perdido nuestro avión. David siempre dispuesto a facilitar las cosas. Volveríamos a alquilar con él si visitamos de nuevo la zona

We used RV Rentals for our first ever motorhome holiday in May 2025. As newbie’s we need all the advice and guidance we could get, and the personal touch that Dave provided was exactly what we needed!
The motorhome that Dave provided was absolutely immaculate! Virtually brand new and top of the range with all the comfort and driver assistance that we needed! It was spotless and everything worked perfectly!
We were so comfortable as we travelled the West Coast of Scotland in beautiful weather and the freedom to visit a number of remarkable places in the luxury of this motorhome was a joy!

Highly recommend RV rentals. Great service from David, a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guy who genuinely cares about his campers.
They are all top spec and very well equipped. We have used them on 4 or 5 trips now and will deffo be booking again soon.

Booked the 4 berth 685 automatic through David in June to tour the NC500 and it did not disappoint, the unit suited our needs well and was in great condition, inside and out. David was excellent to deal with and even gave me a complimentary ride to the airport to drop of the rental car we had prior to our RV adventure, price was reasonable and the unit was well equipped with everything we needed for our trip around the Scottish Highlands, already dreaming of going back for another adventure and will certainly reach out to David again.
We came from Argentina, to fulfill a lifetime dream, of travelling with close friends , visiting Scotland .We thank Dave for the superb attention , his patience to show us the ins and outs of the Motorhome.They are fantastically equipped and well maintained.We didn't encounter any inconveniences during our 10 day adventure.We highly recommend others who are seeking to fulfill this kind of experience ! We hope to return in the future !
We rented a camper van for three days for three people and our cat. I was a bit nervous at first, but David was super kind and let me have a go — that really helped me feel more confident driving.
The van was in great shape and had everything we needed. We tried some wild camping, which was fun, but finding parking spots wasn’t always easy — I prefer to campsites with full facilities.
Such a great way to explore Scotland! We had an amazing time and can’t wait to do it again on a different route.

I sought a company that could hire me a motor home for me to travel the NC500, travelling from Shropshire, I came across R V Rentals in my search. David was reactive to my request and explained the whole process to me so I could make an informed decision. The Motorhome we hired was in excellent condition, cleaned to a high standard. We had no issues at all with it during our 8 day trip. The controls were fully explained and David was on hand via What’s App should we have encountered any difficulties. Highly recommend RV rentals. David provided a personalized service which probably no big rental company could’ve provided. The motorhome we rented was luxurious with all the amenities you could think of. Pickup and drop off was a breeze. David even provided a car seat free of cost for my little one as a courtesy. The next time I’m renting a motorhome in Scotland, I’m definitely taking it from RV rentals.
