We enjoyed a great tour of Rutto Bats thanks to Nancy Condon of DCR's Holyoke Heritage Park. Kip and Mindy were amazing presenters and we were all enthralled to learn about the whole process, starting with carefully selected wood billets and ending with creating bats for Major League Baseball as well as custom bats for many different purposes. Would be delighted to visit again, this time bringing friends and family!

Just purchased two custom Rutto Bats (one as a gift, one for myself) and I cannot speak more highly of the quality craftsmanship and fantastic experience with Kip! I am beyond excited to be supporting an entirely Massachusetts grown and made company. They're responsive, knowledgeable, and the craftsmanship that went into making the bat was far beyond anything you could find in a traditional box store. The finished product looks and feels perfect. I will have my dad type my words into this review. I love my Rutto bat! I went from 2 home runs to 6 home runs after switching to Rutto. I had 2 home runs in 8 games before my bat arrived and 4 home runs in 4 games after. The torpedo bat is very fun to swing. It’s like having a sweet spot magnet. And when I get right on the ball, it gets crushed. Even if I lose power when making adjustments. I always try to swing for contact so getting extra boost is awesome. And I get home runs without getting in trouble for using a home run swing. What makes Rutto the best is that I actually have a Rutto torpedo bat. We are in All Stars now and the other torpedo my dad ordered 6 weeks ago is still not here. But Rutto got one to us in the same week. So Rutto will be my bat company.

The Torpedo craze has electrified baseball and my son wanted on that ship. A local maker said they could make a youth version but disappeared afterwards. And that led us to Rutto. We didn’t know Rutto 10 days ago. Today my son had his first Rutto torpedo at-bat and blasted an in the park home run. He just missed sending his second hit all the way. 10 days, though, for a custom order. And only external shipping delays prevented a 7 day period between order and first game. It’s a strikingly beautiful bat that has exceeded our expectations. He has already hit 200 balls during batting practice and two at bats over 3 days. He actually wants to get more work in. The bat has given him tremendous joy. And undeniable results. And now, we are team Rutto, and happy to be here.
