Delightful Deliciousness Door to Door to Door.
I had a delightful evening! Marta was superb. She gave an excellent overview of Zaragoza and the food scene in the old part of the city. She was knowledgeable of the history, the culture and the foods. I especially loved her personality, her positive energy brought the small group on the tour to life. Marta was also careful to explain the types of foods we were tasting and she made sure that food allergies were not an issue for anyone. I feel that she arranged a perfect evening for the group. By the end of the evening the eight of us felt like we were old friends.

Fabulous evening discovering tapas and wine in Zaragoza
Marta was fabulous! Warm, chatty and knowledgeable. Made us feel completely at home in Zaragoza. The tapas bar selections were well made and the wine choices were superb. We had a ball! The only regret is that we did this near the end of our holiday. If we had done it at the beginning we would’ve had more of a clue when choosing our tapas earlier in the week!

We understand this review may refer to a booking made through a third-party platform under a different name, for a winery and olive oil mill experience scheduled during the solar eclipse period in August 2026.
For future guests reading this, we would like to clarify that the tour was not cancelled a few days before the experience. The cancellation was communicated well in advance, more than two months before the scheduled date, once we confirmed that the original experience could not be delivered properly due to exceptional circumstances during the eclipse period, supplier availability and local travel recommendations.
A full refund was processed through the booking platform. We also reviewed possible alternatives, offered local recommendations and later shared information about a special winery event that became available for the eclipse.
We sincerely understand the disappointment caused, and we apologize for the inconvenience. However, as a small local company, we prefer to cancel in advance and refund fully rather than operate an experience we cannot guarantee to our quality standards.

Marta is an excellent tour guide. She chose a variety of tapas taking consideration of our tastes and health concerns.
She also provided interesting background information about Zaragosa.

This was a great walking tour, the stops were all in a close proximity to each other. Marta made great recommendations, the cream cheese with anchovies and chocolate tapas was actually tasty. I’d recommend this tour!!

Fantastic Experience
Jorge was an excellent guide for this cooking experience. He was welcoming and fluent in English, but we chose to speak Spanish for the duration of the tour. Jorge met me promptly in front of the market and he was able to tailor the tour to my liking. He explained the background of the market and the ingredients we were purchasing in an engaging manner. We took a short walk to the cooking space and Jorge shared some history of Zaragoza along the way. Preparing the regional food together in the kitchen was one of the highlights of my trip and everything we made turned out delicious. I appreciated that he shared the recipes with me afterwards. I highly recommend booking an experience with Jorge.

Wonderful guide, wine experience and spectacular Alquezar visit!
Our guide Marta, was delightful, punctual, very knowledgeable, very safe driver, very attentive to our needs. The day was very well planned out, thoroughly enjoyable! This was a private tour and we were picked up at our hotel on time in a very comfortable sedan. During the drive to the Somontano area, Marta was very responsive to our questions and provided great enhancements on the history, geography and personality of the region and our specific visit areas. The winery tour was excellent with some unique “wine nose” testing- fun experience- , a well crafted bodega tour, and a very nice tasting session. Was the wine OK?? The answer is “Yes.” We left the bodega with extra “baggage.” The Alquezar experience was spectacular! A good bit of a hike, but worth every step. Again, Marta provided wonderful historical insight on the Alquezar. One must see it to believe its location and personality. So worth the effort along with a beautiful lunch with view to round out the day prior to heading back to our hotel drop off in Zaragoza. All in all a beautiful highlight day in our visit to Spain!

Do this tour - Marta is the best!
Marta made Zaragoza so memorable for us! She was very knowledgeable of the city, tapas, and wines, and had us try things we would not have tried on our own. I have allergies and my boyfriend is picky, and she customized tapas selections for us that were outside our comfort zone, but we very much enjoyed. I wish we stayed for more than one night!
It was a great experience! We had much fun with Marta.

Zaragoza is magical!
Marta was truly such a joy for us to spend the evening with. It was a random Thursday before a holiday weekend and it just ended up being us and Marta as they gear up for a busy few days. Marta was awesome to say the least. We learned so much about Zaragoza and it’s very interesting history. She entertained all our quirky history questions and took us to truly amazing tapas places. Everything we tried was delicious even those tapas that were outside of our normal “comfort zone.” Marta will not steer you wrong! So just trust and try! This was such a great way to learn about this beautiful city through a tour guide who you can tell is passionate about this area and is eager for us to gain that same appreciation. 100 stars for Marta! We highly encourage you to book this culinary experience.
It is hard to come up with superlatives to describe the four hours we spent with Jorge shopping for food and then using it to cook a delicious and authentic Aragonese lunch. We learned a lot about everything from Spanish produce to how to cook with an induction stove to tricks for crisping up the paella but we also had great conversations and ate like royalty. If we were to return to Zaragoza, we'd line up several of Rutica 41's tours both in and outside the city. Jorge and his team clearly care about what they're doing and are a credit to the city.

Highly Recommend!
The four hours we spent with Jorge breezed by and everything about our experience was top notch. Learning about Spanish produce in the market was fascinating, the cooking part was lots of fun, and the food was delicious. If we were to return to Zaragoza, I'd look at Rutica 41's website and pick several tours because it is clear that these folks really care about what they're doing, prioritize the customer's experience, and love their city.
The day trip to Loarre Castle was excellently guided by Marta and is highly recommended.
The perfect organization, punctuality, and the many interesting historical explanations and information about the surrounding area are particularly noteworthy.

Jorge is an incredible travel guide filled with passion for food, wine, and Spain.
