Colin is a genius at all things tech. A nice guy who shows up right on time, and doesn't overcharge. Here are some of the things he has done for us: 1) cut cable TV and set us up on cheaper streaming, 2) home alarm system, 3) home theater system, 5) new phone setup, 6) new computer setup (apple and windows), 7) wi-fi router setup, 8) fixed computer and phone problems, 9) helped us buy and setup iPads, 10) helped us choose and set up a great gaming computer for our son... and more. Five stars!
Colin, owner of Rose City Tech Services, has been helping me with all my computer needs for the past 7 years . I’m tech. challenged, yet need to be proficient across multiple jobs. Colin is ALWAYS responsive, dependable, patient, and knowledgeable about ways to streamline the work I do. Not once has he made me feel ridiculous for asking the questions that I do, even if I need them explained in multiple ways. I trust Colin completely and continue to recommend him to friends, neighbors and coworkers.
Colin is the best. He provided us with a complete changeover: First, one of us needed a new PC. He helped us pick out one suitable for our needs, then set it up for us. He explained how we could save $130 a month on our combined internet/landline/television service and get better more reliable service with fiber optic hardware. He arranged for the hardware, installed it and spent time answering all our questions so that we could use the new system. His pay rate for his service was reasonable and well deserved. He is a capable, trustworthy and amicable service provider. We wouldn't hesitate to call on him if we needed technical assistance again, and would be happy to refer him to others needing technical assistance.
I was at my wit's end with Xfinity, their lack of customer service, and their horrible performance. One call to Colin at rose city tech and ALL of my problems were solved quickly and efficiently! He also saved over $150.00 per month when compared to like services (that never did work satisfactorily) from Xfinity.
