I ordered a couple of ton bags of pea shingle — great price and excellent service throughout. I was kept up to date after missing the cutoff for next-day delivery, and the order arrived right on time.
Ricky (the driver) went above and beyond — he kindly split the bag and even used the crane to place the shingle exactly where I needed it, which made the whole job so much easier. Really pleased and will definitely use again!

Everyone at Rose (from the trade counter to the chaps in the yard and delivering goods) have always been very helpful to me as a keen DIYer attacking my own garden landscaping and various odd jobs around the house.
Rose is now my first point of call for most building tasks and they even kindly donated some hardcore to fill some potholes in a local school carpark which has made the world of difference to the whole school community…. Can’t recommend these guys and girls enough!

Brilliant customer service
Needed some discontinued guttering fittings and Rose Building Supplies in Peterborough had them in stock. On my first communication, I spoke to a lovely lady called Jess, who, on ordering my parts, went off to check as the computer was saying zero stock - she called me back soon after to say she found the parts, as I live in Gloucestershire, getting there was an issue, but again speaking to Jess, she said if I book a collection she would package the bits up - I had trouble printing the EVRI label and she even did that. She kept in communication with me until the parcel was collected. The customer service I received from Jess was amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to call again. It’s a pity they are so far away from me - what a top business. I would highly recommend Rose Building Supplies .

I have been constructing a home office / observatory at the bottom of the garden and finding a local supplier who is competitively priced and delivers when I need it had been a godsend.
Contact via email and with the delivery drivers had always been helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
