Roof Rescue re-roofed a pool area for us and Mark committed to a sealed roof, no leaks and no water. After numerous follow-up, we still have seam leaks and it is unsealed around one chimney resulting in a lot of water entering the room on rainy days.
We spent a large sum of money on the new roof and did not receive the roof we were promised and Roof Rescue is no longer returning our calls.

These guys must do fantastic work. I wouldn't know because I can't afford to pay someone to put heat trace in my gutters at $562/hour per person. The 2 man crew bills out at $1,124/hour so the labor rate for 2 guys is $9,000 per day. Of course this doesnt cover materials. Materials are priced at just over twice what you pay for them everywhere else. Imagine how awesome their work must be for them to estimate 2 guys to work for 2 days and then bill their customer $18,000, just for the labor! Unbelievable. If my wife and I had just been born rich (instead of so darn good looking) I would definitely be throwing giant stax of cash at these guys!

Installing heat tape systems is a highly specialized service that requires licensed professionals, strict safety protocols, and often challenging roof and gutter conditions—especially here in Idaho. Our pricing reflects not only labor, but the fact that we stand behind our work with lifetime warranties. Additionally, there must be a misunderstanding on the labor, as the amount listed in this review is more than twice what the actual estimate reflects.
That said, we never want anyone to feel surprised or discouraged when they see an estimate. We’re always happy to walk through the details, explain material and labor costs, and even suggest alternative solutions, when possible, to help fit different budgets.

I'm not very pleased with how my experience has gone so far with this company. They came out to inspect the roof on my newly purchased home. Roof Rescue determined that it was going to be too many small repairs, a patchwork of sorts, so they wanted to replace the whole roof's shingles, which would cost $17k.
That seemed incredibly steep, so we have had several more roof specialists out to look at our roof; all are willing to repair in whole for less than $17k and some willing to repair in part for as little as $4k. I'd say they are charging a lot more than necessary, with a lot of lip service, upselling, and fluff included. They were willing to cut me a $2,300 cash discount, that barely makes a difference - and that was only if I scheduled their services quickly. Seemed more like a sales tactic in hindsight than them trying to help me, as they spun it in the moment.
While I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they probably have a great product with great service and installation, I just can't fathom how that would be affordable for me or many others in similar situations.
I declined their services, and I have been pestered off and on since then. I would have left 3 stars but I got a call today even asking if I had any more questions. Nope, but I have a review for you. 2 stars. They also don't clean gutters - lame!

Roof Rescue of Idaho Falls was recommended by the trusted general contractor we used to spare us the angst of vetting roofers on our own. Owner Mark Franklin gave us and our roof repair project personalized, patient and detailed attention. He explained the drip-edge style, shingle type and other materials he proposed using. He met our April deadline, and during the project he came by and inspected the progress and work of his crew. He and his staff were responsive to our questions, and we're always pleasant to deal with. RR is perhaps not the least expensive, but the confidence our general contractor had in Mark gave us the confidence we needed. It was a good choice.
