The folksy and family themed advertisement on tv led me to call about a roof and siding issue I have. A couple of days their inspector turned up at my house. Took photos and measurements, said he could see the problem. Left telling me that he would forward me an estimate. That was more than 10 days ago. No estimate,no communication. If McCanns didn’t want to do the job then fine , all they had to do was tell me so I could go find another contractor. Do you do roofing and siding-YES WE DO. HA!! You won’t be getting any recommendations to my family or friends.

You invited us to your home, trusted us to follow through, and then you were left waiting with no update. That is not who we are, and I’m truly sorry you had that experience.

Thank you for being honest with us. Your review stings because you’re right. We should have communicated better, and you deserved a timely estimate, or at the very least a clear answer. I’m looking into what happened so we can fix it on our end.

If you’re open to it, I would really appreciate the chance to personally make this right and get your estimate to you immediately. But no matter what you decide, I’m grateful you gave us the opportunity, and I’m sorry we didn’t live up to it.

After carefully doing comparison shopping, I selected McCanns Roofing and Construction company to do the job. I was not disappointed at all and I highly recommend them. I initially spoke and met with their Project Mgr. Mike Hledik. I found him to be very professional, he listened to what my needs were. He told me what services they could provide and stand by and the length of time he thought it would take. This was followed up with a proposal and visuals to know what to expect. Everyone I came in contact with was knowledgeable about the job and very courteous- always answering any questions or concerns. The project was finished way before the deadline. After the job was completed Follow up was made, as I was contacted to ensure that I was satisfied with the job. It was a pleasure doing business with McCanns Roofing and Construction!

Very few construction jobs go 100% as planned and ours was no exception. Its how Adam and the crew at McCanns addresses our small issues that struck me. They are very fast and very eager to make everything perfect for the homeowner. They had guys out on a rainy Sunday to address our concerns. McCanns recently worked on several projects at our home.Drew Cruz did an exceptional job as project manager. He was very professional-explained the construction process, kept us updated on time lines, and made sure we were happy when everything was completed. Denaro, Lionel, and all their crew did an outstanding job on everything- especially dealing with rain and extreme heat. They replaced all the siding, guttering, painted the exterior and built a new cedar patio cover. Everything turned out beautiful and we have had so many compliments on their work! McCann’s Roofing did a wonderful job replacing our shingles, gutters, and repair to our pergola after having storm damage. Eric was so much help. He came when our adjuster came to look at the house and went over our insurance paperwork with us so we knew exactly what was being covered and what everything meant. His crew did a great job and cleaned up well when they was finished. I would recommend them and would use them again.

We were more than happy we had McCain Roofing replace our roofs. The house, unattached garage and shop. They were very professional. The clean up during and after was better than expected. Based on the other reviews, I was hoping to have a good experience with this company. I couldn’t even get them to send me a quote after they came out. And I asked more than once and spoke to both Adam and Eric(owner of the company). Reply to your response: I have all the texts and calls saved and I never received a quote. Adam has my email address so he could’ve easily sent it there, but he never did. I kept asking for updates and never received anything except that he was talking to them.

Mrs Black, you contacted us on 4/22/25 for an estimate on your roof and that you had been working with a different roofing company already that wasn't communicating as you wanted. Adam came out to your property 4/23/25 and found siding damage that was covered up by the previous roofing company. You stated that you wanted us to help with the insurance process on 4/28/25 so we spoke to your adjuster and updated you. On 4/30/25 we tried to touch base with the adjuster again and also updated you on progress. On 5/1/25 another text was sent to you asking if you'd heard from the adjuster since we hadn't. Multiple text/calls were made from 5/1/25 through 5/31/25 with the last two weeks of messages not answered or returned. Since you did not respond we figured you had someone else take care of the work for you without letting us know so we marked your file as inactive so we didn't bother you. Then on 8/12/25 (3 months after you stopped returning our calls/text) at 9am you reached out to me on my cell phone asking for an estimate to be created on your siding issues. When I said I would have Adam send that over you asked for someone else to handle it which means we have to start back at zero since no one other than Adam and yourself knows what needs to be done. After getting our guys started on current projects it was my intention to try to come look at your property today 8/13/25, 24 hrs later. Although the timing didn’t align for us to complete your estimate, we were surprised to receive a negative review. We sincerely hope you find the right contractor to take care of your project in a timeframe that works for you.

Had some old soffits and gutters that needed replaced. I reached out to a few different companies, but McCann’s was definitely the best choice. From the moment I first submitted a request for a quote to the completion of the job, the communication has been outstanding. They are professionals, and their quality of work proves that. We had some vinyl soffits, aluminum fascia, door trim, and aluminum gutters installed and it made my home look fantastic. I would definitely use their services again.
