Tony at ALB Construction did an outstanding job helping us track down a persistent water leak we originally thought was coming from the roof. He approached the problem methodically and, when the leak continued, came back to investigate further from the inside out.That extra effort revealed there were actually two causes—one external and one internal. The internal issue turned out to be punctured copper piping from our floorboard heating system caused during a recent molding install. Three plumbers told us this was impossible. They were all wrong. Tony’s persistence, honesty, and problem-solving saved us from ongoing damage and unnecessary repairs. Highly recommend ALB Construction.

Tony made my year. Not only did he come, he fixed my siding on the spot. He secured it the way it was supposed to be, something that the person who installed it failed to do correctly. He noticed the weak spots on the one spot on my house where we have issues with wind blowing it off numerous times. Other people came and ripped me off, not ALB. I paid an amazing price for an outstanding job. I can’t thank them enough. Id give them 50 stars if I could. 👍🏻

I recently hired A L Best Construction Corp. (Jimmy and his team) to replace the entire roof on my building, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, reliable, and detail-oriented. The crew showed up on time every day, worked extremely hard, and kept everything impressively clean throughout the project. You can really tell they take pride in their craft — the workmanship is tight, the finishing is neat, and they didn’t cut corners anywhere. Even small details were handled carefully. The job moved fast and efficiently, exactly within the timeframe they promised, and the cost estimate was accurate with no surprises. Communication was also great — Jimmy explained each step clearly and was always easy to reach. The plastic corrugated roof panels on our enclosed porch were very old, cracked and leaking, so basically when it rained outside, it rained inside. Before we ever found ALB Best Way Construction on Google, we had other roof contractors come take a look and they all basically said the same thing, replace the porch roof with the same type of materials found in Home Depot. Since Tony and Ben of ALB Best Way Construction already did such an outstanding job on replacing our old house gutters, we asked them to fix our porch roof. We mentioned to Tony about the materials that the other contractors before him wanted to use and he stated that they were very thin and would not hold up well, so he suggested metal panels, and since they didn’t sell the type/size he needed here in Staten Island, Tony went out of his way to Long Island to buy them. We are so extremely happy with the results, not only does it look incredible, but no more leaks and a great price for superb quality work and materials. Tony and Ben of Alb Best Way Construction are highly skilled, professional, efficient, honest, a pleasure to deal with and their attention to little details sets them apart from the rest, plus they go above & beyond! We will be calling them again next spring to do work on our outdoor deck. Don’t waste your time shopping around and just Call “ALB Best Way Construction” for Superior quality work and the best prices on the market… the Best of the Best for sure!!

I just had ALB Best Way over to do a chimney repair to alleviate water leaking in the basement. Tony reviewed the problem and gave me a complete synopsis of the situation, in detail, with optional solutions. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his creativity in offering the best solution for the lowest cost. The repair was pretty extensive and successful in solving the problem. I was so impressed that I asked if they knew someone who could repair my front door portico/awning and Ben, after examining it thoroughly said that they certainly could do it. The portico was a wood frame and aluminum flashed ‘awning’ supported by wrought iron pillars. Once it was deconstructed they found the framing underneath had rotted which necessitated a demolish and reconstruct. I was amazed at their expertise and I am more than pleased with what is now a beautiful new portico/awning. And their pricing was a true value. In short, this is a highly skilled, and professional team of good people that I would highly recommend.

Most competent, professional, and fairly priced roofers in the Queens/Brooklyn area. We worked with Tony and the team on a new shingled roof (with new plywood/ underlayment/ ice and water shield) and they completed the project in less than 2 days. We had a new new construction 5 years ago in which the general contractor did not install the rood to proper specifications resulting in leakage issues. Tony offered multiple options for resolution and did not push for a major project. He even offered a timeline on how many years we had left prior to future issues developing if simply patched. It was our decision to gut and redo. The team of 5 came early, set up to minimize disturbances (they even moved out plants to prevent damage), explained exactly what they were doing and why they were doing it. They worked efficiently to complete a fairly complicated roof and fully cleaned up afterwards without prompting. Our gutters were improperly installed/pitched (by previous contractor)as well as the flashing. All these issues were resolved completely during the project. Alb Best Way construction are experts at what they do. They also happen to be honest and well-priced while attempting to minimize the scope of your project as much as possible. They are a rare company that does not oversell or overcharge. Also - very family friendly - the entire project was completed with my 2 young kids around. I will be working with this team for my siding in the near future.

Highly skilled, honest, and fair roofing contractor. We had a leaking issue with a fairly new roof and Tony quickly arrived and diagnosed the issue. He was able to pinpoint the source of the leak and other trouble area while stating the roof overall was in good condition. There was never a push to upsell/ over-diagnose/ or over charge. He was a professional who spotted issues and rectified on the same day. Should I be in need of any roofing/ siding/ or chimney necessities in the future, I will certainly be working with Alb Best Way Construction. Please note, Tony came during freezing cold conditions on a Sunday prior to impending snow storm. Great service from an honest business at a time when honestly is seldom found.
