An inspection coordinator knocked on my door recently handing me her card saying that they were in the neighborhoold performing "free roof inspections." I informed her that as an insurance adjuster I did not find this to be a good business practice since companies such as these attempt to file insurance claims whether someone needs a new roof or not. I do not appreciate companies such as these; if I need an inspection for my roof I will seek it out myself, but a reputable roofing company.
