Start Here: Best Introduction to Ancient Rome Sites I arrived in Rome the day before my tour group experience began. I had the evening free so I booked the Sunset Tour with Rolling Rome. They only do private tours. I was alone and therefore not able to share the price but it was worth every penny. My guide, Nick, was fantastic!!! He spent a little time getting to know me so he could plan the tour accordingly. I asked him to show me his favorite spots and tell me why they are his favorites. For over two hours I was thoroughly entertained and educated. He stopped at every photo opportunity and advised me on the best viewpoints. His navigation skills were superb and I felt safe and confident to just enjoy the sights and appreciate the history. At the end of the tour, Nick dropped me off at a taxi stand nearest my hotel which saved me some money. I highly recommend booking a tour with Rolling Rome for a great introduction to the historic sites and to get a sense of the old city. This experience was the highlight experience of my entire ten days in Italy.

Looking for new experiences in Rome. We have traveled to Rome over 30 times since 1095 and were looking for “new” experiences. This tour took us to many interesting and far less crowded spots. Just what we were looking for! Our guide Morgan listen as we told him where we had been over the years, with and without guides. He gave us a new experience with many visits to wonderful sites. We could not have walked to these places in weeks. The golf cart gave us range to explore far from normal wonders. Morgan was a great guide and driver. Tour exceeded our expectations!

Absolutely Incredible Tour Angelo was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! He knew so much about every place we stopped and personalized it so much! We got to see such amazing places and views we didn’t even know about, and he even explained random spontaneous events that occurred! Our experience with him was nothing short of excellent and Angelo was so nice and humorous, which elevated the experience that much more!! The Only Way to See Rome This is the only way to see Rome and we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Oscar. He's a young guy who is a former High School History teacher and the son of an American and an Italian. He is extraordinarily knowledgeable and was able to not only connect with me and my wife, but our teenage sons stayed interested the entire time. He was willing to tailor the tour to the sights we wanted and not only gave us facts, but stopped to take pictures as well. There is also a lunch that is included and the food was great. Of course, we can't forget to mention how nice it was to zip around town in a golf cart and get into areas that cars couldn't. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience. We didn't want it to end. So, book a tour and definitely ask for Oscar. You won't be disappointed!

Great way to see and learn about Rome. Eugene was an absolute wealth of knowledge and was friendly and interesting to listen to for our family including 3 children aged 9-14.
