I cannot recommend Robyn enough, she is amazing and has done remarkable work with our rescue Hound. He and our GSP just love her and enjoy their time at RMH. Robyn's high level of care and investment in each individual dog is top notch and it makes it easy to leave our beloved pets with her. If you have a dog that needs training or boarding, contact Robyn now! Our hound has been back to RMH twice in the last year (since first post). He goes bananas as soon as he sees Robyn and has a wonderful stay with her. She posts photos and stories daily so we can see what he is doing while he is there and he is so happy to be part of her crew. He is so well behaved when we pick him up and even has had a bath and nail trim. We appreciate that she expects good manners from the dogs and is consistent with her training methods and expectations so that we can parallel them at home. We have already booked again for later in the year!

We sent our 5 month old to puppy Robyn for foundational training and obedience. Robyn had our puppy for her 3 week board and train and was able to develop a strong foundation for her built on Robyn’s strong leadership, empathy and care for dogs. We loved Robyn’s consistent communication and openness to listen and target our areas of concern. During our midway and go home sessions Robyn provided invaluable training for us to best set our puppy up for success. Additionally, Robyn’s success guide for taking our puppy home has been such an asset for us to show up for our dog in the ways we need. 10/10 would recommend Robyn for your dogs needs. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Our journey with Robyn started years ago when she worked with our dog Enzo, who was already an adult at the time. The transformation in his behavior, confidence, and overall balance was incredible and made such a positive difference in our daily life. Because of that amazing experience, coming back was an easy decision when we welcomed our new puppy, Lola, a 6-month-old Boxer. Once again, Robyn has been absolutely wonderful. Her knowledge, patience, and genuine care for the dogs truly stand out. She doesn’t just train dogs — she understands them and works with each one based on their personality and needs. Seeing both Enzo and Lola thrive thanks to her guidance has been a joy. Trusting Robyn with our dogs has been one of the best decisions we’ve made, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything she does. Rocky Mountain Hounds is the best! We sent our little Lambo for the 2 week puppy board and train with Robyn when he was close to 4 months old. Best decision ever. We now have a dog who is not even 2 years old that we can bring anywhere. We get compliments on how well behaved he is and he is an absolute joy to walk and play with. My puppy Koda completed the two week Puppy Board and Train program with Robyn, and it has truly transformed our relationship. When I first reached out, I was feeling completely overwhelmed and discouraged. We had worked with a previous trainer, but Koda’s biting and stubborn behaviors were only getting worse and more intense. I felt like I was failing him and I was worried about him having the same intense reactions towards another person. From the moment I met Robyn, everything changed. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate, and Koda absolutely adores her. She helped me understand Koda’s personality and what kind of structure and leadership he truly needs. He’s a confident, strong-willed puppy, and with Robyn’s guidance, I’ve learned how to meet him where he’s at while still setting clear boundaries. Now, our days feel calm and connected instead of chaotic and stressful. Koda is happier, I’m more confident in my leadership, and our bond is stronger than ever. He still has his dramatic moments where he's trying to test me (and always will), but those moments are much less often and manageable now. I can’t recommend Robyn enough. She’s made an incredible difference for both of us and I'm forever grateful.

We first met Robyn when boarding our dogs and have worked with her ever since. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and has such a beautiful way of clearly communicating and training dogs (and teaching their people)! She has taken the absolute best care of our high energy pointer and has taught us so much. Robyn shares the tools with clear, effective instruction and advice to make sure you’re set up for long term success with your dog. I’d highly recommend Robyn to anyone needing any sort of training or care for their dogs. You will not find anyone better!

Robyn at Rocky Mountain Hounds is wonderful in all the ways! My two dogs who are so different in every way, one being a dog selective GWP and the other a 5 month old super social BMB, I knew that they would be in the best hands and their individual needs met on a daily basis. Robyn is caring and loves all dogs like they are her own, regular Instagram stories and personal texts made my day. Its never easy leaving our fur family behind but when they are with Robyn I know they are having the best time. She is Aunty Robyn to my dogs now :)

I would give Rocky Mountain Hounds 100 stars if I could. At the 3 month mark post adoption of our Staffy Mix Chico we’d become totally overwhelmed with his dog reactivity, counter surfing, separation anxiety and overall high energy needs. We had several conversations about rehoming him - we were guilt ridden and lost on what to do. I’d found Robyn’s instagram and seen the success she had with dogs having similar issues so we decided to give the Day Train program a try as a last resort. Robyn helped us eliminate the emotional baggage we carried and gave us the tools, structure and confidence to overcome all the struggles we were having with Chico. Our dog went from the cause of our stress, to now being our stress reliever. At the end of each week of training, Robyn sent us detailed write up on training homework and specifics about how to keep training on track for the long term. She trained us as much (or more) as she trained Chico. We also got regular photo and video updates on how his days were going. Our walks are now relaxing instead of stress ridden, we can enjoy taking Chico to stores and patios and our home life is so much calmer. Chico has gotten to the point where he can relax more easily, has a solid obedience foundation, is comfortable in his crate and is even playing with other dogs when he goes for Day Camp visits. It’s been a 180 degree change from where we were just 6 weeks ago. Robyn’s training expertise, communication, personalized approach and genuine love for the dogs in her care is amazing. She’s helped us see how special our new dog is and improved all of our lives for the better. If you are struggling with your dog or want the very best care for them while you’re at work or travelling, Robyn is absolutely the best in the biz.

Robyn is an exceptional dog trainer who has taught my dog Scooby, the essential skills he needed and has strengthened our bond. After completing Robyn’s training program, Scooby has learned many new skills including boundaries, improved manners, and gained confidence. I can now walk Scooby on leash, take him out in public to stores, have him in his “place”, etc. Her training is professional, effective, and tailored to meet individual needs. Robyn is patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cares about the well-being of my dog. She is super flexible and always sends photos throughout the day so I can see what my dog is up to and I love that! Scooby loves going to Robyn’s for day camp and overnights and we don’t have to worry about him at all. I highly recommend Robyn and her training programs to anyone!

I have boarded my dog in several facilities, trying to find the right one that suits her dog selective personality. I’ve put in a lot of work and time to train my dog to be less reactive and confident and my dog walker/dog trainer (Melissa – Mountaink9) introduced me to Robyn for boarding my dog. Robyn takes care of my dog, Leila, as if she was her own and judging by how excited Leila gets whenever I pull up to Robyn’s house, I know she loves staying at her facilities. Robyn is excellent at communicating how my dog is doing, sending lots of photos on her Instagram account, and updating me with how she is with other dogs. She also continues the training that I put into with Leila, so when I pick her up, she still has all our training reinforced. Robyn has been so flexible with scheduling and I’m really grateful that I have her to watch over my dog when I’m out of town. She has no problems administering oral medications, and measures out my dog’s food. When the weather gets cold, she makes sure that all the pups are warm and bundled up before going out. Robyn is so thorough with observing the dogs’ behaviours which has been a huge relief for me because of my dog’s reactivity to certain dogs. I can tell that Robyn devotes a lot of time to each of her boarded pups, carefully observing their personalities, preferences, and challenges. She ensures she fully understands each dog before making thoughtful decisions about introductions to other dogs. I’ve always enjoyed watching my dog play with others, but I know she can be selective about her playmates. I trust Robyn to thoughtfully assess which dogs Leila will get along with. Robyn is incredibly thorough and meticulous in running her facilities, all while ensuring the pups are safe, happy, and having a great time. Robyn has been excellent with my dog who is on the nervous side. I know he loves going to her for day camp because as soon as we drive up to her place, he becomes very excited. I first met Robyn almost 2 years ago when I brought Neville (my quirky french bulldog) for a board and train to help with some severe behavioral issues that included handling, anxiety, and the potential for serious bites if not addressed. I was almost at the end of the line when I called for help and she eased me immediately. Fast forward two years and Neville's issues have improved with constant training, guidance, and consistency which I could not have done without Robyn and her prior employer (chinook K9). When Robyn started her own business I was thrilled that Neville would have a home to stay in when I am away. I never have to worry when I leave him. He is always well taken care of with frequent exercise, appropriate socialization, and love. Not many places will ensure your dog has quiet time in front of the fireplace or cute Christmas photos when you drop them off for boarding. Neville is treated like one of the family and I cannot recommend Robyn enough. Thank you for saving Neville and giving him the best shot at a normal life (or as normal as Neville will ever be!).
