I came into the shop today with a problem with my internal tuner on my guitar and within three minutes, they worked out the problem, fixed the problem and didn't even charge me for the service. I've only had fantastic experiences here (I've been here multiple times). Always kind, always helpful, fair prices, expert knowledge and always a great conversation. Highly, highly recommended.

I have been using Matt for all my bass and music equipment for a few years now since I was at college.
Took in my second-hand Hartke amp head I had just bought that was having issues with overheating and turning itself off.
It came back perfectly and has been working a dream ever since! I have also bought a Cort active bass off him and he has frequently set it up and helped me maintain it (offering me advice as a fellow bassist so I could fix things up myself, too!).
Matt had always been really helpful and I highly recommend his shop especially if you are a bassist. It would be a shame to see you go anywhere else!
Best music shop I have been to in a long while. We had an out of tune left-handed second hand guitar restrung. Matthew was extremely kind and gave some great advice for our son. I was very impressed by how he was really relaxed and patient with young people coming in to try out the beautiful guitars. Hopefully our son will continue with the guitar and will come back to buy a better quality one!

An incredibly helpful and friendly team at Rocket Music. I went in looking for bridge pins for an acoustic guitar that had slightly bigger holes than other pins I had bought online and they suggested some and checked that they did fit the guitar before I purchased them. I noticed a wide range of guitars and other musical gear as well and would recommend Rocket Music to anyone.

Absolutely amazing music shop! Matthew does some great work, an absolute legend! I needed to get my guitar fixed for my bands biggest gig to date and of course I went to visit Matt. Unfortunately due to my guitar being an older model the manufacturer had sent the wrong part which meant it couldnât be fixed in time for the gig, but without hesitation Matt kindly offered me a brand new model of the same guitar to use for the gig at no extra charge! The gig went amazingly and I couldnât be more grateful for Matt doing that, not many people would so thank you mate, such a life saver. Couldnât recommend Rocket Music enough, if you want to check out loads of amazing music gear or if you need any work done on your equipment, Matt is your guy! Thanks again.
I have known Matt Long for a number of years now and also his charming wife Clare (or is it Clair?) Always very helpful and patient and applies his considerable talent as a soul guitarist to any musical matter. I believe he simply teaches himself new instruments as and when required!
