I employed Roy from R M Decor Solutions to carry out work that needed doing in my hallway and kitchen including all doors and frames.
He did a fantastic job on the newly installed coving and plastered ceilings, having to make good a lot of imperfections which he carried out without any hesitation. The finished project was outstanding and I can’t recommend him enough. Roy is a friendly and knowledgeable person and really knows his craft. Roy has done a fantastic job of prepping and painting one of the bedrooms in our house - it is an old timber-framed property with plenty of exposed beams in the walls and ceilings, with not a straight-line in sight. Roy's work is incredibly neat and to a very high standard, and he listened to what we wanted and delivered perfectly. He was professional and communication was brilliant throughout - couldn't ask for more. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We could not rate Roy high enough! His workmanship is brilliant and we are so pleased with the results after completing multiple rooms in our house plus a complicated stairway. Roy was very helpful and organised with the planning and worked with us and our baby to make sure there wasn’t too much disruption to our days. We will not hesitate to use Roy again and would recommend for top quality and friendly service!

Roy transformed our old tired fitted bedroom wardrobes by restoring them with a paint finish that saved us both time and money. He then decorated the bedroom and en-suite which both now look fresh and updated. We had Roy back to refresh our sitting room and study and do a complete change to our kitchen colour scheme. Roy does a good job and is respectful and easy to have around.

We had an old book case that had seen better days but we didn’t want to get rid of it. Friends recommended we contact Roy after he’d painted their living room. Roy has transformed the cabinet by hand painting it. It looks amazing and we’re delighted. Thanks Roy, we’d certainly recommend you to anyone who needed their house or furniture painted.

Roy brought our dark wood MFI wardrobes into the 21st century with a brilliant paint job. They look fabulous. Roy is quick and efficient; priming, undercoating and top coating on successive days. He is very very neat - you know those hypnotic YouTube videos of someone painting really neatly and smoothly, that's like watching Roy.
We'd costed new doors from Ikea, but Roy was much better value.
Very highly recommended.

We have just had Roy back for a second job to the exterior barn woodwork and transformed our old wooden windows from wood to graphite grey. Looks amazing. He also sanded, treated and stained the garage doors which again look amazing. Professional, polite and punctual, he’s now booked in to transform our traditional wooden kitchen. Watch this space! Asked for a quote on some painting and decorating to be done. Hallway painted and part wallpapered. Kitchen re painted white. Bedrooms repainted and living room repainted. Doors glossed and skirting. I was stuck at work when Roy was due to come over and have a look, so he asked me to send some videos over. I WhatsApp the videos if what I wanted done, clearly didn't want tge job as he kept asking me about my budget I have tge money because I wouldn't of asked for quotes in the first place if I didn't. Anyway i said I can cut costs due to having some paint for some of the rooms that needed touching up. Received a message back again about budget, basically implying that I can't afford his prices when he disent know me, never visited my home etc Roy said tge company was in so many words too expensive for me and that i should find a 1 man band. I replied my budget is 4000.00 total which I would say is more than enough for some painting and decorating job. Since then no reply....how bloody rude. Found a much nicer painting decorating company now who is starting soon and isn't patronising and discriminating .This is Roy reply on a WhatsApp to me . Thanks, but what sort of budget do you have in mind because as a company I think our costings is going to be a bit high you may be better to find a one man band who may do your work on a day rate. Your words Roy. For the record anybody can make reviews up and get friends and family to write them. At No point did you say you was to busy to do the job , I just dont live in a 6 bed property and have loads of cash, but as I said 4000 to do some repainting and 1 hallway wall wallpapered is enough budget. Your just a snob !

As I’m very busy, I mentioned it might be more suitable for you to consider another decorator or perhaps a one-man band, depending on what suited you best.
At no stage did I say you could not afford my prices, nor did I quote for the work. My intention was purely to be upfront about whether I could fit your project into my current workload.

We found Roy on Internet whilst looking for a decorator and what a found it was.
He is a proper professional and did excellent job painting our gate and balcony.
He is very friendly and we enjoyed his company.
We will definitely use his service in future.

I have just had my bedroom completely renovated by Roy and the workmanship is perfection. He's clean, tidy, efficient and friendly. All day in half a day. The price he charges is a decent amount for what he has to offer. I highly recommend him to anyone.
