Really like this place, brought my car here for a full service a few months ago and was really impressed, very reasonably priced, now brought both my car and wife’s car to have an aircon re-gas and was chuffed how quick it was fitted in and done. Friendly, professional and overall a well run garage.

A garage you can trust. Popped in during a long drive from south France to Scotland. They fitted me in bang on time when I was passing the area and sorted my issue fast and at incredible value. Do not come here for Warranty Insurance Repair or Replacement as they are supporting the Insurance Company, this is based on our own personal factual experience, please see photo attached.
The Insurance Warranty Company emailed us, that this garage gave them supporting documents and their own opinions, but there was no factual history documents repair evidence from the previous owner of vehicle. Not expert in claims handling, they will give more support to the Insurance Company, so definitely...your claim will be rejected.
We are extremely disappointed and frustrated to see this review, as it is both damaging to our small business and factually incorrect.
At no point did we “support” the warranty company in rejecting your claim, nor would we ever assist a larger company in avoiding a legitimate pay-out. This is completely untrue.
Your vehicle attended our workshop on two separate occasions:
1). Initial diagnostic to identify the cause of the noise and provide an estimate.
2). A follow-up visit at the warranty company’s request, where we recorded a video of the affected CV joint to assist them in processing your claim.
For clarity, we do believe the warranty should be paying for this repair, given how recently the vehicle was purchased. However, the final decision is not ours. As an independent garage, our responsibility is to report honestly and professionally on what we can see — nothing more, nothing less.
During a visual inspection only (so you could continue using the vehicle), we noted that the CV boot appeared to have a non-factory clip fitted. In our professional experience, CV joints most commonly fail due to lack of grease. We did not remove the boot or dismantle any components, and this was clearly communicated. As warranty even stated in your message posted, this was “in our opinion”, not a statement of fact or a definitive cause.
We cannot influence or override a warranty company’s decision. We can only provide truthful findings based on what is visible at the time of inspection. Taking frustration with a warranty provider out on an independent garage who has acted transparently and honestly throughout is, frankly, unfair and unreasonable.
Negative feedback like this can have a significant impact on an honest small business, and we would strongly encourage you to reconsider and amend this review to reflect the facts accurately.

100% recommend RKH. Prices are very good and the staff very friendly and kept me well informed of updates of repairs. I had a timing chain replaced which was almost half the price of what I was quoted elsewhere locally

What an amazing garage, took my car to have its exhaust repaired as noticed it was hanging low and within less than 24 hours of dropping it off I picked my car up with a new exhaust fixed at a reasonable price, friendly and efficient team, will come back in future with any repairs :) thankyou

This garage is a breath of fresh air! Family run, friendly and super helpful. I took my car in for a replacement inner cv boot and they found that the outer boot was also perished and split so instead of getting the car back in at a different time costing more on labour, they did both at the same time for me. I will be using this garage again in future for all my cars. Very happy. 😊

We’re really sorry to see your review, as we do work hard to give an honest and reliable service, and it’s disappointing to hear you didn’t feel that was the case.
When your RS4 came in, it had been stood for a while with a clutch issue. Removing the gearbox and old clutch turned out to be a much bigger job than usual because of seized bolts and bushes. We invited you into the workshop so you could see for yourself what we found, including the dual mass flywheel, which had heat cracks from the previous clutch failure.
We always aim to explain parts and prices before going ahead, and in this case, some parts had to be genuine Audi components, which we know can be more expensive than usual. You also mentioned the new rear calipers weren’t working properly, and asked us to bleed them through, which we did including extra work to get them functioning again.
On the labour side, we can honestly say you were charged less than the actual time we spent, as we try to bill job times wherever we can to keep things fair. Sadly, the cost of some parts is out of our hands, but we did our best to keep you updated along the way.
As a small business, reviews like this really do affect us, which is why it’s sad to see your experience didn’t match what you’d hoped for. We can only apologise for that.

Trustworthy and transparent
I have been using them for a number of years and they are always so helpful and not out to "make a quick buck" and offer advice and guidance on options available.
I use my recent visit as an example, I was quoted a price and would have paid the estimate price quoted but the job only took an hour not 1.5 hours so invoice reflected that.
Coupled with the excellent receptionist who is a true ambassador I am happy to recommend RKH.

What a fantastic garage. The lady who dealt with my whole very complex repair was brilliant. She kept in touch throughout the repair, dealt with warranty and even helped again when they were being fussy.
The repair was done very quickly with them fitting me in as I had a long distance trip coming up.
Literally you cannot fault this garage. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The repair was done with no fuss and the aftercare has been great too.
Definitely the best garage I’ve dealt with. I will definitely be recommending them!!!
