Well, where to start? I have been going to Riviera Wellbeing on and off to see Dr Ashleigh for a number of years now. This was on an adhoc basis when required to help with a stiff back. I asked Ashleigh further advice on wether a targeted sports massage type therapy would be beneficial in conjunction with my current treatment. We discussed this and decided that it may have benefits. I have had my first massage with Laya, and I was thoroughly impressed, I did feel an immediate benefit. The care and professionalism provided by both of these young ladies is superb and their genuine interest and interactive skills are second to none. If you have a problem and need some unbiased advice and professional treatment then give Riviera Wellbeing a ring. If you have the same experience as me you will not be disappointed, but don’t leave it too late

I had my first consultation today with James, wow I was actually blown away by his knowledge and kindness. James treated my pain, gave me serval exercises to do at home and a treatment plan to hopefully make me pain free before Christmas. Had an initial assessment for an ongoing back/leg problem yesterday afternoon. Max was thorough and unhurried, taking time to explain the probable cause(s) of the pain I'm experiencing. I was offered, but not pushed into, having treatment at the end of the consultation; which I accepted. I was told that a supporting exercise plan would be emailed, which I received before 8am this morning. I am impressed so far. Not expecting a 'quick-fix' but certainly felt treatment will be tailored to my need, whether this is chiropractic adjustment with Max or a complementary therapy with one of the other specialists.

I had my first consultation and treatment today with Dr. Max Burrows, and he was fantastic. He took a thorough history and went above and beyond explaining what was causing my pain and how I could manage it going forward. He made everything easy to understand, was realistic, caring, and I left feeling an instant sense of relief. I’m already looking forward to my next session! Even after just one appointment, I’m really pleased to say my pain has already started to subside, which speaks volumes. Thank you, Max 🙌

I went to see Max to see if he could help with excruciating pain in my lower back. The initial consultation was very thorough and Max suggested a treatment or two to see if that would help. Im generally very sceptical when it comes to miracle cures but i was desperate for any kind of relief. After half an hour of what seemed like very basic treatment i left and to be fair i was pretty sure this was not going to help. This was 3 weeks ago, prior to the visit i was literally doubled up in pain almost every day. Since i left his office i have been completely pain free with life returning to normal at last!

Was in quite a lot of difficulty overnight with a reoccurring back problem, phoned reception first thing, and found it was difficult to book the necessary 1hr appointment as I was classed as a 1st time patient, not good when I then would have to get through the next 3 days. However a super receptionist, offered to speak to the chiropractor and get back to me. She was true to her word and managed to get me an appointment with Rob. Appointment was very professional easy to understand what my problems were, and then got on with job of sorting it . A great job Rob did too , I left 75% better, thank you all. Peter Mulloy

I made an appointment at the Paignton wellbeing centre for September 12th as the NHS physiotherapy department in Torbay could not see me until the 24th November. Almost 3 months to see a physiotherapist for a painful ongoing problem is too long to wait so I took the alternative route. I was seen by Dr Max Burrows who discussed my problem & set about his business in manipulating the troubled area. Yes it hurt as I knew it would but this morning after a decent nights sleep I got up feeling much better. I have booked in again for a second session next week which I hope will totally resolve the issue. A very professional business which I highly recommend based on this visit.
