After slipping on the ice and twisting my leg I started PT at Riverwalk with Larry and Lauren. I exercise regularly and push myself with HIIT classes because it is good for Parkinsons. We discussed my pains each visit. I had to give up a lot of exercises and concentrate on strengthening my injured leg. We tried numerous exercises that would help alleviate my knee pain. They varied week to week but in the end I was able to return to HIIT classes. They listened to what I wanted to do and designed exercises to focus on getting me back on track. Not everyone is interested in jumping rope at 77 yrs old and going to HIIT classes but I feel that it is important to me to halt the Parkinsons progression which I could not do with that knee pain. They challenged me, listened to me and designed exercises that got me to where I wanted to go. That persistence and knowledge is what you want and expect from your Physical Therapist. That is what I got at Riverwalk.

I just thought you might enjoy knowing that six or seven years after treatment for arthritis, tendinitis of the thumb, carpal tunnel syndrome, and some lesser annoyances I can still use my right hand exceedingly well. Those months of PT really made a difference.
Oh, and John, at about 75yo I am still lifting. i just adjust for more age appropriate approaches like more lifts at lower weights. I finally gave away my 100 # Powerblock set of dumbbells and my 35# kettlebell last month. my 25# kettlebell remains. It would have to be tugged from my sweaty hands.

After years of struggling with pain caused by injuries from hockey, the Riverwalk team helped tremendously with my rehabilitation which included providing stretches for neck & shoulder & back pain, numbness, etc. With consistent treatment and home exercises, the process has been extremely effective in strengthening my body as a whole. Have never been to such a complete
therapy program that incorporates not only exercise but also more than enough time with manual manipulation with each and every patient. It is a fun atmosphere where you can see the therapists and staff enjoy what they do, they get along great and they really listen to the patient. I have been to atleast 12

My experience at Riverwalk Physical Therapy was exceptional. The facility was clean with state of the art equipment. Staff and assistants are always helpful and kind.
I went to Riverwalk Physical Therapy for rehab due to a fracture of a humerus bone that caused loss of motions with my entire right arm.
Larry Pemberton was my primary therapist. Larry was amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable, caring and kind. He listened well and easy to talk to. His ability to combine expert techniques with genuine compassion made me feel cared-for and comfortable.
I began to notice improvements only after a few sessions. And now, 12 weeks later, I have regained almost full range of motion of my arm. I can literally do everything I used to do. At the end of my last appointment, Larry also gave me a set of home exercises to continue at home, to maintain my progress and maybe even to improve further. I'm so grateful for his exceptional skills and kindness.
I will have no hesitations to recommend Larry and Riverwalk Physical Therapy to anyone in need of physical therapy.

2 years ago my son came to see Michelle because he walked on his toes. After a few months he started walking normally. Today he is doing well in track. He has tried in other places before and it wasn’t so good. I’ve also done physical therapy here and the staff is really good.

I couldn’t have gotten better help after a knee replacement than with Brianne Cain. She is extremely knowledgeable with what needed to be done and was so so cheerful and fun to work with. I’ll really miss her. I also have confidence that if I need something else down the road I will definitely go back to see her. Olivia was also very helpful and fun. They put you through your paces and you walk out feeling great. You won’t be disappointed.

I started coming to Riverwalk PT over 7 months ago when I was in the pre-op stage of my recovery. As I write this, I am about to walk in for the last time and I could not be any happier with my experience working with Bri. I had surgery for a SLAP tear in my shoulder and as I reach my 6 month post-op mark I am thankful that my recovery has been nothing short of amazing. Everything Bri has recommended and pushed me to do has lead me to feeling great! She is a true professional and her care towards her patients is never questionable. I went to Riverwalk to treat issues with my neck. John helped me clear up my issue within a few weeks. His massage techniques were very targeted, and the prescribed exercises helped me to that shoulders and posture greatly affect the neck strain. Thanks!

I worked with Brianna and Abi for 4 months after rotator cuff surgery and they were outstanding! I spent more time with Bri and she knew exactly how hard to push me through the various exercises but always made sure not to extend me to the point of hurting myself. Her mantra was always patience and I am happy to say it worked. I am back to playing golf again and look forward to a painless season.
