We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully set up as we were celebrating an anniversary. The host family was warm and welcoming. They showed us around their farm, quickly helped with a minor issue, and even let us take a basket of pears from their trees. We also loved meeting their farm animals and the friendly barn cat, who visited our yurt and spent part of the night with us. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

We had such an awesome time staying at Riverside oasis this weekend!! The Caspian yurt was beautiful, warm, comfortable, and clean. Exceeded our expectations for sure. The animals were such a fun experience. Property is beautiful. Will definitely be back again and recommending to many! Thanks for a great weekend.

There is a fireplace in the centre of the yurt for cold days as well. It was very clean, and the bed was super cozy and comfortable. We slept like tucked-in babies. There is a small river flowing by the farm. Highly recommend enjoying morning coffee by the river. Kayaks and a canoe are available. There are farm animals you can interact with and feed, which include a healthy pack of alpacas, some goats, a flock of sheep, a coop filled with some very confident chickens, and a few barn cats that love to get some pets from you. The location is wide open and extremely peaceful, and we absolutely enjoyed the calm and stillness, punctuated by the occasional sounds of farm animals and the ruckus of squirrels. During the day, we drove to Niagara Falls, which is 40 mins away, and there is a quaint, lovely little town nearby—Dunnville—where we found a wholesome lunch. We had such a great time (and so did our little dog)! We had a beautiful view of the river from our bed inside the yurt and enjoyed watching the sunset from the porch. The hosts are wonderful and really care about your experience. They encouraged us to explore the property, spend time with the animals and to treat the farm as our own. The farm animals are healthy and friendly. We recommend joining the included farm tour, so you can learn more about them and the history of the farm. We liked the easy to read signs everywhere to guide your experience (you never have to worry about accidentally entering areas that are off limits) and it helped us feel more comfortable exploring on our own. There's a well looked after trail to hike and canoes and kayaks you can use at your leisure. Thank you again! We'll definitely be back!

If you’re looking for one of the best glamping experiences in Ontario, I highly recommend this place!

It was one of the most peaceful stays I’ve ever had. I surprised my wife with a birthday getaway here, and the hosts went above and beyond — we arrived to find a cake, a charcuterie board, a cute birthday banner, and even our favorite drinks waiting for us.

We stayed in the red yurt, Kandy, and it was absolutely magical. From the outside, the yurts look cozy and small, but stepping inside felt like walking into a spacious, beautifully decorated hideaway with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Everything we needed was provided, from propane and stoves to utensils and a firepit right outside.

The farm itself was a delight. We were greeted by alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens — and to our surprise, an entire litter of adorable kittens in the barn! The animals were friendly and comfortable with visitors, and we loved being able to hand-feed them with the provided feed. We even had the rare chance to be there when a newborn alpaca made its first appearance!

After spending time with the animals, we enjoyed a peaceful nature walk along the river, soaking in the sights and sounds of the outdoors. In the evening, we lit a campfire with firewood from the hosts, roasted marshmallows, and even had a surprise visit from one of the barn cats. With clear skies and bright stars overhead, it was the perfect night.

On checkout morning, we relaxed with coffee on the deck and cooked the complimentary fresh farm eggs — such a thoughtful touch. I also recommend choosing the early check-in and late check-out option. It gave us extra time to enjoy the animals and even squeeze in a fun game of Magic: The Gathering with the wonderful hosts.

All in all, our stay exceeded every expectation. The experience was magical, the setting was peaceful, and the people were genuine and down to earth. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Such a wonderful and relaxing experience. The owners are so friendly and inviting. The animals were silly and fun. We found the yurt to be clean and spacious. 100% recommend booking a stay. We will definitely be booking another getaway.

The goats really are as friendly as advertised. Sneakers are better than sandals cause they will step on your feet. The property is wonderful, plenty of space but everything is within a 1-2 minute walk. The barn cats were so soft and I got to see 3 kittens still breastfeeding. Check for fire bans before you go! We had planned everything around having a fire then were disappointed when we couldn't. It was so nice to have a little deck to sit on outside of our yurt. It rained overnight and the Lyla yurt didn't leak at all, we stayed very comfortable and dry.

We met the lovely new owners and they introduced us to the goats and alpacas. The nearest road is surprisingly busy but it offers access to several nearby towns for supplies, or a poke around.

Great night away!! Yurts are so cute and unique. Stayed over on a very chilly, windy February night so thank goodness for the wood stove. Owners were very friendly, helpful and only interacted with you as much as you wanted them to. Brought our dogs which is a total bonus to be able to do! Can't wait to go again in better weather to spend time with the farm animals and enjoy the outdoor area as well.
