Had an excellent time on Tom and Sharon's farm and would recommend to everyone stopping by in Niagara. The yurts are excellently constructed and offer a more than comfortable camping experience, and the farm animals make for a great stay along with the friendliest barn cats around.

Had the most amazing experience here !! Such humble friendly owners that made us feel comfortable, they came and helped us to close our tent window in the middle of the night when it drizzled rain and showed us how to use the camping stove (much appreciated) Best experience for an affordable unique getaway . Definately recommend staying here :)

10 stars if I could! We absolutely loved our stay at Riverside Oasis Farm. One of the best parts was having the freedom to go into the alpaca and goat pasture throughout the day. It was such a special experience to relax and connect with the animals. The farm tour was both educational and exciting, especially getting to watch the animals settle in for the night. It felt really authentic and memorable. We stayed in the red yurt in Kandy, which was such a unique and cozy experience. The wood stove kept things warm and inviting, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. I also appreciated the thoughtful setup with solar power, along with a charging station for electronics and the option to rent a portable battery for extra power. Such a peaceful, one of a kind getaway. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and unique experience in Niagara region. Mongolian yurts that are cozy and aesthetic. Endless opportunities to cuddle and feed their friendly alpacas and goats. Beautiful family run farm that is a must stay in Ontario.

Riverside Oasis is so perfectly named as it truly is perfect peace. My daughters and I stayed in the Caspian yurt for 2 nights. It is so gloriously beautiful inside, the details are so exquisite, and the solid workmanship is so evident! We didn't need the stove the first night but when I opened it to set up the wood it was already done perfectly and I just had to light the papers ❤️. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and having an amazing time 😊. The animals are the most darling things, the goats actually snuggle and are so clean. I could have lived with Gertrude 😅. The best part was Shadow, the beloved matriarch barn cat who likes to keep the guests company in the evenings. She cuddles right up, slept between my daughter's and was our sidekick the next day. We cannot wait to return and experience the joys of this wonderful family at Riverside Oasis. Thank you ever so much!

We just got back from staying in one of the yurts at Riverside Oasis Farm and Retreat. I travelled with my husband and 2 kids (13 and 8). We all had an amazing time. It was so serene, hearing the animals was a nice sound compared to the city. The yurt was decorated tastefully which created such a cozy, relaxing vibe. There was plenty of wood for the inside stove. We purchased a bag for the outside fire, which was dry and easy to start. Inside the yurt was very spacious and clean. I stress the fact clean as I am a clean freak, it makes me nervous being in shared spaces but I did not get that yucky feeling as I do in some hotels at all. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was clean. We brought a couple staples that I usually always travel with; dish sponge, spare dish/hand towels and paper towels these came in handy. If you are planning a meal that requires a large pot you could bring one, you may find it will be a bit easier. However, everything you need is provided; Bowls, plates, utensils, cooking utensils, cast iron pan, smaller pot, propane stove, kettle, cups, mugs, French press, salt and pepper. The toilet is an out house but honestly it was cleaner than any public bathroom at a restaurant or any camp site I've ever been. The animals were so fun to watch and feed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. All in all an amazing stay that we all loved! If the teen loved it then it is a must!

We loved getting to pet and feed the animals & the owners and staff were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic stay at Riverside Oasis Farm. The yurt was very comfortable, clean and thoughtfully set up and being able to spend time with the animals around the farm was a highlight and the kids loved the evening farm tour! The hosts were kind, helpful, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. If you’re looking for a unique, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back in the summer and try the river kayaking and paddle boarding. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable farm stay!

nice farm, the tent was good, but The toilets were very dirty🤮🤢there was no water to rinse off the dirt!! For the high price, they should have been much cleaner!!

We are so glad we picked Riverside Oasis Farm to be our staycation. Despite being the dead of winter, we were kept toasty warm all night with the wood burning stove and loved being able to participate in the bedtime farm tour, and to see the animals the following morning. Owners were friendly and kind, truly making us feel welcome! We will definitely be returning!

A great and cosy stay. The yurt was gorgeously decorated with all the necessities and extras for glamping. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful! The alpacas coming over for treats in the morning was so cute. Absolutely no concern about being warm enough for a winter stay. Woodstove and plush duvets made it so cosy. Such a peaceful sleep! Thank you Riverside Oasis Farm for having such a great space for a much needed change of pace!

We had the most wonderful winter stay at Riverside Oasis Farms for a 4-mom getaway, and it was truly everything we needed and more. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel so comfortable — like we were visiting friends rather than staying somewhere new. Even in the middle of winter, the space was so warm, cozy, and inviting. One of the absolute highlights was feeding the alpacas and helping put them to bed alongside the owners of the farm. Learning about the animals directly from them made the experience feel so special and personal — you can genuinely feel the love and care they have for their farm and animals. It was the perfect mix of peaceful, unique, and memorable — a place where you can slow down, connect, laugh, and just be. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend Riverside Oasis Farms for anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind, heart-warming getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, cosy, and thoughtfully set up as we were celebrating an anniversary. The host family was warm and welcoming. They showed us around their farm, quickly helped with a minor issue, and even let us take a basket of pears from their trees. We also loved meeting their farm animals and the friendly barn cat, who visited our yurt and spent part of the night with us. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed for the weekend at the Yurt. It was easy to find, very clean, wood inside for oven, which keeps it very, very warm inside, spacious and has lots of things you’d need. Farm was fun. So many cute animals and cats. We got the birthday package, and got charcuterie, cake and wine. Hosts were very friendly. Only thing to be prepared for: outhouses, no running water (but access to jug of Water) and no electricity (but solar powered lights inside) but if you camp, this would be a non issue!

The most peaceful, relaxing Glamping experience we've had. This place has 3 very lovely and cozy Yurts, with all the amenities one would need. There is a fireplace in the centre of the yurt for cold days as well. It was very clean, and the bed was super cozy and comfortable. We slept like tucked-in babies. There is a small river flowing by the farm. Highly recommend enjoying morning coffee by the river. Kayaks and a canoe are available. There are farm animals you can interact with and feed, which include a healthy pack of alpacas, some goats, a flock of sheep, a coop filled with some very confident chickens, and a few barn cats that love to get some pets from you. The location is wide open and extremely peaceful, and we absolutely enjoyed the calm and stillness, punctuated by the occasional sounds of farm animals and the ruckus of squirrels. During the day, we drove to Niagara Falls, which is 40 mins away, and there is a quaint, lovely little town nearby—Dunnville—where we found a wholesome lunch. But the highlight is the family that runs the farm. Every member of the family is very charming, polite, always smiling, and welcoming. We found them truly passionate about providing their guests take a break from daily life and enjoy the pause. They gave a farm tour as well, which was really informative. They know a lot about the animals they have, and we learned many interesting facts about them. Before leaving, we got to pick pears from their pear tree orchard and left with good memories. We’ll be visiting again.
