Rita has been extremely helpful during our resident cat and kitten introduction. Not only has she provided such great insights to cat behaviors and their meanings, but has somewhat been a therapist to us as well. It’s challenging going through an introduction that got off to a rocky start, and sometimes you just need someone to help you as the owner as well as the cats. Rita provided such great insights to videos and pictures as well as products to help the cats acclimate. I recommend her to everyone!!

We worked with Rita in May to help our two bonded cats who were experiencing redirected aggression. Rita was very knowledgeable and patient and made herself available via email throughout the whole ordeal. I frequently sent Rita videos and updates and she was always quick to respond with her analysis and advice on how to move forward. With Rita's guidance and product recommendations, we have been able to reduce our cats' anxiety and we haven't had any redirected aggression since the end of May. We are so grateful for Rita's help in restoring the harmony in our home.

Rita is extremely knowledgeable. She has helped me on many occasions with many different cat problems over decades of years. Most recently with my new rescue who bites me hard when he goes after my legs. I Googled before contacting her, and unfortunately what I read and did was not enough. Now I have a different path to take and advice on something to give my furbaby to play/chew on. I didn’t even know it existed! Before giving up on your cat, or getting angry enough to punish your cat (which you should never do), contact her. You won’t regret it.

My babies were a bonded pair for 8 years who would snuggle, play, and groom one another before ONE vet visit caused non recognition aggression between them. I work in vet med and have tons of experience with cats, but I could not get my babies over this hill without Rita. I was devastated, I thought I would have to re-home one of my babies for their own safety. I worked with cats vet for months trying to get them back to normal at home, nothing their vet recommended seemed to work. Once I met with Rita and implemented her advice, I started noticing positive changes right away. It still took some time, but now they are back to a bonded pair, loving on each other and playing. We absolutely could not have done this without Rita. Without her, I know for sure one of my babies would’ve had to go to another home. Rita saved my family! I am eternally grateful for The Cat Behavior Alliance. Truly cannot express my gratitude enough. ❤️

I can’t even put into words how much the team with Cat Behavior Alliance has helped with getting my 2 fur babies together. I had a session with another behaviorist recommended by my vet. The behaviorist was a caring and supportive person, but the only recommendation I received was a prescription similar to Prozac. I’m not opposed to that type of medication, if needed, but I wanted a 2nd opinion. I did my own research and found Cat Behavior Alliance. I followed their recommendations and experience with bringing my male and female back together. They both currently are resting on my bed while I type this review. I never imagined that I would be experiencing this togetherness in a million years, but here we are due to everyone’s dedication and experience with the Cat Behavior Alliance. I wish calming sprays, calming treats, and encouraging words and interactions would translate to the human population. 🤣 A thank you does not seem sufficient enough. You gave me back the greatest gift: my 2 fur babies. I sincerely thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

Linda and Rita were kind and understanding. They went above and beyond during our session to be supportive and helpful, and the information they provided was organized and thorough. Rita and Linda provided a better understanding of cat behavior, methods to use to improve behavior, and a list of recommended products. Although I would recommend doing your own research before purchasing any of the products CBA recommends, I did appreciate the list as a starting point, and I never felt pressured to purchase anything. We were really struggling to integrate a kitten we had adopted and a kitten we were fostering-to-adopt. Now they are brothers who love each other! I am confident that without CBA's help we would not have gone through with the second adoption. We have never used cat behaviorists before, but we are SO glad we did, and would recommend CBA to anyone else who is struggling!
