Recently participated in the Rifle Guru long range shooting class. What a wonderful experience. I have never shot long range and by the end of the class I was able to hit targets over 1000 yards. Learning about ballistics and what it takes to shoot long range was very rewarding. Jeff, Wyatt, and Drew do a great job explaining the information and guiding you through the proper shooting sequence. I highly recommend this class!
I recently took the two-day shooting course with Rifle Guru, and it was one of the most valuable training experiences I've had. By the end of the class, I was making shots that I honestly never thought I'd be able to make. The course wasn't just about pulling the trigger—it covered a ton of information on ballistics, shot placement, environmental factors, and the reasoning behind every adjustment.
My instructor, Drew, was outstanding. His callouts were consistently on point, and he had a great way of explaining what was happening and what corrections needed to be made. Having that level of feedback made a huge difference in my confidence and performance throughout the course.
At this point, I think Drew could tell me to aim at something ridiculous, and I'd probably just trust the call and send it. Thankfully, he keeps things a lot more professional than that—but that's how much confidence his instruction inspires.
Meeting with the owner, Jeff, was fantastic. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the specific cartridge I was looking at and had experience with the rifles I was looking to purchase. He walked me through the pros and cons of each and I was able to make an informed decision on the rifle I bought, a Horizon Firearms Vandal X in 25 Creedmoor. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend this business to anyone looking to purchase quality firearms or components.
I had a great experience working with Jeff and Rifle Guru. Jeff is great to work with, very knowledgeable, and you can tell he really cares about getting things done the right way. He took the time to answer questions, explain things clearly, and make sure we were comfortable throughout the process.
The communication was solid, the service was professional, and the overall experience was exactly what I was hoping for. It is hard to find people who combine that level of expertise with being easy to talk to and genuinely helpful.

I’ve had Jeff put a few long range rifles together for me. As someone new to shooting he was awesome at guiding me in what to get. He really knows his stuff and is a lot of fun to talk to. I also took the long range shooting school. Hit a mile target on my 3rd attempt at the end of the 2nd day. Pretty incredible what he was able to teach me considering I had basically no experience shooting long range before. The class was also very professional. Not just shooting high end rifles but think big screen TVs and Starlink internet, and beautiful Idaho rolling hills to mimic real scenarios. Really great private range, great lunch (which I wasn’t expecting), and great instructors.

Jeff puts on a wonderful long range shooting course with the help of Wyatt and Drew. I am a fairly new shooter and this class taught the basics for me, but also helped those whom have been shooting progress. You get instant feedback during shooting segments from one of the instructors, classroom segments are thought out and applicable. The team has access to and has used many different types of scopes, rifles, range finders, ammo and etc. They are knowledgeable, patient, and truly take the time each student needs. Everything is provided for the class, all you have to do is show up. Not to mention some great snacks, fantastic meals, and we all shared a ton of laughs.

All the gear is top notch, but more importantly the customer service is the most notable part of this business.
Working on my rifle here truly gives me the feeling of being taken care of, and not being sold to. In the world of precision shooting there is a lot of information out there to take in.
