We recently had permanent lighting, installed by Trimlight, and the entire experience had been fantastic. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and clearly focused on quality.
A special shout out goes to Ricardo Navarro, our salesman, who truly went above and beyond. Ricardo took the time to explain all options, answered every question with patience, and helped us choose the perfect set up for our home. His product knowledge and friendly approach made us feel confident in our decision, and he kept us updated through every step of the project.
The installation itself was clean, efficient, and beautifully done. The lights look incredible – sleek during the day and stunning at night. We love being able to customize colors and schedules so easily.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with Our Trimlight system or the outstanding service we received. If you’re considering permanent lighting, we highly recommend Trimlight – and definitely ask for Ricardo.

(UPDATED after reply below) While the sales experience was good, and management understands what makes up a good french drain, the install process had several mistakes. The install team used materials and methods that were not in the approved sales contact and not suitable for french drains. These were corrected in the field when I pointed out the contract requirements to the install team. It did take extra time on both sides to resolve.
After being contacted by the owner and explaining what happened, the contract issues were acknowledged and resolved.

I also understand my team completely fixed and redid the install according to what you were expecting. For making this right, I would hope for at least a 3 star review. I love my new Trimlights. Connor was very helpful in explaining everything to me before I purchased. The install team were very nice and neat. Everything was cleaned up when they were done. The lights look great!

I worked with Ricardo for my Trimlight install and he was amazing from start to finish. He walked me through different lighting options, was super patient with all my requests, and really brought my vision to life. He even came back out after the install to help with zoning and make sure everything was perfect. We’re already adding more lights because we love how it turned out. Highly recommend, he’s your go to guy!

The Trimlight folks came out and installed the lighting system on my home in early 2024. The system looks great and works very well. It is amazing the different display patterns you can easily create. They were quick to install and had everything up and running in a single day. They followed up a few week later with personal training and some quick short cuts to make working the system even easier. Over this past summer we had a weather event that damaged some of the equipment. Their service team was here the following week and had everything back up and running the same day. I would definitely recommend this company. It is a pleasure to do business with them.

The sales rep, Ricardo, was awesome to work with. Very flexible and responsive to our needs. The installers did a very professional job. They cleaned up every little piece when they were finished. Looked immaculate. The lights are the talk of our neighborhood. Everyone is in awe when they see them.

We had our permanent lighting system installed about one week ago. It was one of the best experiences we have had. From the first phone call we were met with professional caring people. The office people, thank you to Ms. Monika Whitley listen and provided my requests. I do not like high pressured salespeople and they sent my perfect match in Ricardo. He met us on time, explained the product perfectly, measured our home and set the wheels in motion for the installation team. No high-pressured conversations. The installation team came on time, did a perfect installation job, cleaned the area and after the installation and set up the app my phone. Unbelievable, Ricardo did a follow up call to be sure we were pleased with the product and the procedure. The system is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, we have received numerous compliments. IF I could, I would give 10 stars, starting with the office personnel. If you are "thinking" of installing this system stop thinking and just do it. You will be very happy you did. Trimlight Chicago keep up the good work and Ricardo we can't thank you enough.

Customer service for repairs or problems with the TrimLights is terrible. I requested on 9/22/25 a service call the controller isn’t working - I was told service was 2 weeks out but would get a call. I followed up with an email 9/26 & 10/2. Just keep getting the same answer someone will call. On 10/6 I received a call saying they could come 10/31. So I went from 2 weeks out to 6 weeks waiting. This is unacceptable - you can sell the product but can’t service in a timely manner and this is the second controller to go bad.
AN UPDATE TO MY SERVICE PROBLEM
I received a call from Patrick who owns the company - he was very concerned that it had taken so long to get someone to confirm a service time and apologized it had taken this long to get on the schedule. Pat arranged to have someone come out the day he called and replace my controller. I appreciate him getting involved and it showed me TrimLight Chicago dies care about their customers.

We had an appointment with Dominic from Trimlight on Monday, September 29, 2025, and the experience was outstanding. Dominic was not only very informative and professional, but also incredibly relatable—a true family guy who made us feel comfortable right away. He answered every question thoroughly and presented everything in a fun, engaging way.

I had the trim lights installed on my home. Dominic was an excellent salesperson and explained everything very well. Monika and Irma were extremely helpful in getting everything finalized. I met with Ana who gave me a tutorial on the app. She explained everything in detail and offered ways that I can get help with the app should I have questions in the future. Edit: After a few weeks of back and forth we have come to a resolution and we will be moving forward. Patrick has been very helpful and I am hopeful. I will be excited to add photos and another update/star when the work is completed.
We unfortunately had a very poor experience with Revive. When Vincent came out he was very nice but the quality of service wasn't there. He said he'd send us something by end of day. We had to follow up the next week. We paid for the quote and rendering. We received them but they weren't what we discussed. After following up a few times we were told he was out on a family emergency but that someone else would help us. Almost a month later and multiple follow up emails we never received one word from them.

Revive Your Lawn are patient and helpful in my home project involving an underground gutter and sump pump discharge system. The project manager and team communicated well through the entire process. The system that Patrick (owner) designed for my situation has been working well. The products they used "FrenchDrainMan" products are top notch and are well designed. If you have any yard drainage needs, reach out to these guys as they did a great job in my yard.

We had someone come out on April 19th (David) to look at some things we need to do and would like to do. We were excited because it seemed that it was all possible!
It's now June 11th, and we have YET to receive an estimate.
UPDATE: Patrick (owner) has reached out and offered to make this right. We're working on it - and this review will be updated as the status changes.
