Highly recommend focusing on the appetizers here! The beets with goat cheese and the crab cake bruschetta were true standout favorites and delicious. However, there are significant areas for improvement. The steak was only ok, and the accompanying asparagus was woody—a clear sign of poor ingredient quality or preparation. Finally, the desserts are lacking and could use a complete revamp. Great concepts, but the execution needs far more consistency.
"This is definitely one of our best favorite places for a reason! The consistency is incredible; each visit is as good or better than the last. The food is simply out of this world, with everything from the burger to the Filet being so delicious. The staff ensures a great experience every time. Thanks to James, Talia, Julia, and Nadia for their super great service. You won't be disappointed by anything on the menu!"
We absolutely love this place and it's become one of our best favorite spots! We've been here a few times now, and the experience has been consistently as good or better each time. The staff is top notch—truly stellar. Special recognition goes to James the GM, bartenders Talia and Julia, and server Nadia, who have always been super great! The food is out of this world, delivering delicious quality from the simple burger all the way up to the Filet. We highly recommend this restaurant for its reliable excellence.

Ok let’s talk about it, had a reservation at 430, arrived at 436. The doors still locked, we waited for a few minutes and finally they unlocked the door. The inside is dark and not the warmest place to go to. The waitress Julia was so nice, and made up for a lot of the short falls. We started with cheese curds. The veggies on top are in a sweet brine which wasn’t to good. The curds on the other hand were amazing. We then both got the filet. I will say the cook was great, the seasoning not that impressive. I had a cocktail and a zombie dust. We then got desert, I got the creme brûlée, let me say it tasted like pudding and no where near a good one. My wife got the jar desert which tasted like banana pudding. Nothing spectacular. The price 152.00 plus tip. Let’s say there were some good points but overall it’s not worth St Elmo’s prices. I’m not disappointed, I just know the cost versus the quality, I will not be back. I feel bad as our server was the brightest point. Service makes the experience better as I’m sure the post would be worse if we hadn’t had that great service.
I stopped in for a week night late dinner.
Good service as the staff was starting to wrap up their night.
I ordered an old fashioned and pork chop.
The CITY water is bad. This means the ice is bad as well. Please have someone sell them a filter!
The old fashioned was served with that same cubed ice. If only it was a single quality cube it would have made it much better.
The bone in pork chop looks amazing! Beautiful presentation, and while being tender it was dry. Mixed with the roasted root vegetables and purée, it was very tasty.
In summary, good experience but the food and beverage was less than expected.
I made a reservation to celebrate my parents’ birthday yesterday.. We’ve heard such great things about this place and we’re excited to try it out!
Upon arrival, the host told us he didn’t have our reservation (internal panic) but it was quickly resolved and because we’d arrived early we decided to get drinks at the bar while we waited for our table.
We wouldn’t recommend the Old Fashioned, but the Carajillo, Paloma Blanco and even the featured mocktail were all thoughtful, creative and really delicious!
Both appetizers, the Fried Rock Shrimp and the Baked Brie were on point, which only made us that more excited for our entrees…
We each ordered something different for the main course, and overall it was one of the better meals we’ve had in a while. My salmon dish fell a little flat as the menu description didn’t fully represent what was on my plate, but the 3 other dishes were outstanding.
The melt-in-your-mouth short ribs were the star of the show with the fall-inspired pork chop dish being a close second! Just…Wow! The flavors were well thought out and complimented each other extremely well.
None of us had much room left when it came time for dessert, but that didn’t stop us from ordering one of each! I think we all had our own favorite, but they all had great balance of sweet and salty. My idea of a perfect ending!
From start to finish, the service wasn’t stellar— but the food itself was undeniably something to write home about… We’ll be back! ♥️
