A nice site to camp on. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Hiring a fire pit and buying kindling and logs from the on-site shop nice for the evenings. Toilet block was already clean and showered run hot. Can recommend.

Thank you, Sara! We're thrilled you had a fantastic week and enjoyed the peaceful location and on-site facilities. We very much appreciate your kind words and can’t wait to welcome you back soon!
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights last week, in our campervan, and had such a lovely experience from start to finish.
Sarah was so welcoming (even though we were late arriving). She made sure to explain everything to us on arrival and kindly recommended things to do and a local taxi service to help us get around.
The pitches on the campsite were spacious and the toilet/shower block was kept really clean. It was fairly quiet during our stay as we were out of peak season so the facilities were just fine for us.
There is a lovely little farm shop shed at the end of the lane that has an honesty box so we bought some bacon and sausages and they were delicious!
We loved that it was really peaceful, it was so nice waking up surrounded by nature - including Puzzle the horse and Pie & Mash the donkeys.
Thank you for being a fab host, Sarah. We will definitely be recommending this place to family/friends and returning next time we're in the Isle of Wight.
We stayed here for two nights this week and found Sarah to be an absolutely delightful host. She made us feel very, very welcome and the farm shop next door has eggs, gold top milk along with the rest, fruit, veg, potatoes and beef, mince beef lamb and pork, burgers etc. There is also bread and farm butter. We only bought eggs as had food with us. They also sell firelighters, wood and eco charcoal. The shower and toilet block was warm and very clean. It was beautifully quiet at night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here.

Thank you so much, Sharon. We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay and felt so welcome! It’s great that you enjoyed the farm shop and peaceful atmosphere. We appreciate your comments about the toilet and shower facilities and are pleased they succeeded in living up to expectations. Your recommendation means a lot! We very much hope to see you again next season.
This is our 3rd year at returning to Retro Staycations and it just gets better and better every time. We celebrated my 40th birthday here and Daughter's 4th birthday. It is so friendly, clean and the freedom for our children is simply wonderful. Waking up to the fresh air and space every morning and switching off from the world is the best feeling in the world. This has now become our annual summer treat and will continue to do so for many years to come.
Having the Farm shop next door where you can order a breakfast pack from is a real treat for your stay along with visiting the new resident horse and donkeys Pie and Mash!
Sarah, Alex, Buddy and the team are so welcoming and make it feel like a second home. We cannot recommend enough. The Nelson Gang x
Great, quiet campsite on a working farm. A large flat field with loads of space for each camper so the children have loads of space to play. Toilets, showers and washing up area are kept very clean. The host Sarah was really friendly.

Great campsite with lots of room (we were in a tent). Amenities always kept spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and available. Farm shop at entrance. Lovely views and wildlife (we saw red squirrel and barn owl).
Thanks Sarah 😀

Thank you, Richard! We're delighted you appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, were able to make use of the available space, and enjoyed the wonderful wildlife sightings. Red squirrels are just one of the things that make the Isle of Wight unique - I'm pleased you encountered them! It was a pleasure to meet you both. Please come back again soon to enjoy our newly completed shaded area, with it's brand new roof! 😉
We had a great stay here over a weekend of bikepacking from ryde > ryde. The amenities were fantastic and it was so nice to have a hot shower after a days of cycling. We loved the farm shop and sustained ourselves on the fresh foccacia.
Sarah was super friendly and helpful and made the whole experience even better.
Living the airstream dream
What a unique experience! Fabulous stay in the Humphrey airstream. Couldn’t fault our little break on the Isle of Wight. Many thanks to our host Sarah and Buddy the dog! Fantastic place for getting away from the hustle and bustle of life to just chill. Great accommodation encompassing a mixture of quirky and charm. Great to experience a slower pace of life while enjoying this retro accommodation. We will be back!
