Visited on December 11th.... Wished for small Goulash soup and mulled wine . Neither available. Staff were less than courteous. Very disappointed .

Honestly, I really dislike being treated like an uninformed tourist.
We came to your restaurant specifically for the goulash after a recommendation from a Hungarian friend. When we arrived, we mentioned this and were given a table.
When we tried to order, we asked for the goulash, and the same waiter told us there was no more goulash available at 12:45. He suggested we choose the other “specialty,” the Bribacsa, which is basically the same dish as goulash, but at double the price. Since there was no goulash left, we accepted. The soup was good, but it was simply a goulash.
Our surprise came when we later heard another waitress taking several regular goulash orders from other tables.
This is extremely disappointing and feels like you are taking tourists for fools.
In the end, we paid €24x2 for what was clearly a goulash soup. and total 60 euro for one little water and two soups… If this isn’t a tourist trap, I honestly don’t know what is.
Apparently I cannot put 1/2 stars for it. “Blocked by Google for this place” be careful really

The food was overpriced for what we gotand the menu on the website is cheaper then the menu's you get in the restaurant.
We had better meals for an easy 5000Huf less in Budapest.
The bribacsa was very bland and had hard pieces inside, the langosh bolognaise had a very strange smell (not a very good one).
They already started to clear the table while there was someone still eating.
This gave us the idea that it was about time for us to leave.
To end with a good thing: the glass of dry red wine was good.

The food was good, goulash was pretty good compared to others that we have had. Environment is small, but close knit and the service is attentive and kind.

The food was ok (if you’re from a slavic country your mom probably makes a better goulash, but if you’ve never eaten it it’s good), normal sizes, nothing extraordinary. But the price is so extremely expensive it’s insulting to us as tourists. Two meals and two beverages over 70€?! The biggest problem is the mandatory service charge of 15% (10€!!??). Skip this place, you can eat much better and cheaper

TOURIST TRAP!!!
Food is not that bad, portions could be bigger for that price.
71 EUROS for 1 goulash, 1 beef birboma, 2 cokes and portion of traditional(cheap) bread (5 slices almost 3 euros)
The final thing that made us angry is that the service charge is included in the bil(15%) and the waiter still turned around the card machine to give tip on top off that, so if we didnt see that on the bill we could accidentally tip two times 15%, what a ripoff
