On the 29th January with birthday girl Zoë Cooper I visited the fantastic RestaurantDOM in Scunthorpe. The food was amazing, and the people very lovely, welcoming, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable… we had the 10 course taster menu, which was an absolute taste sensation with every course achieving an intricate and perfect balance.. not a single misstep, everything was stunningly good. If you want a foodie treat, this place is well worth a visit. I think you would have to go a long way to find anything better.
This restaurant is fabulous. The set lunch menu is great value, for the quality of the food. Beautifully presented, well balanced dishes. I can’t recommend Dom highly enough. Look forward to returning soon.

Not impressed rang twice to make a reservation no answer only voicemail. I left detailed instructions for a call back so l could book a table. Heard nothing five days later not a good start. Consequently not going to bother which is shabby at we live to support scunthorpe businesses.

Our restaurant was closed for a scheduled two-week break, and during this time, our phone lines were not monitored. We acknowledge that a specific "out of office" voicemail should have been active, and we are sorry this was missed.
Because we weren't monitoring calls, we leaned heavily on our digital platforms to keep our guests informed. We ensured our holiday closure dates were updated across our website, social media, Google, TripAdvisor, and our online booking system. Additionally, our email was set up with an automated "out of office" reply to assist anyone reaching out digitally.
As a Scunthorpe business, we truly value local support and would have loved to welcome you. We hope that now we are back open, you might reconsider visiting us so we can show you the high standard of service we are known for.

Date night for our pre Christmas meal and Dom is the only place we wanted to go. Very good menu options - we visited with a group of 7 friends in December. The ambience we as great. Wonderfully subtly decorated for Xmas. We went to this lovely restaurant for a family birthday meal having heard about from a family member. The vibe and décor are cool, with shelves of preserved ingredients etc on display. There is a car park opposite, which even has electric car charging stations. The food was delicious, and there are some lovely wines available as well as some de-alcoholised varieties. There is a wide choice of options on the menu from mains, starters, and desserts. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Dom is very good value for the high standards it offers, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Works Christmas Meal
On Friday 12th December, 2025 we had our works Christmas meal here comprising of 20 employees. The booking was managed well from start to finish - we all chose before we came. We were met on the evening by lovely staff that were friendly and obliging - even when we wanted to re-arrange the seating arrangements this was not a problem. The food - in my opinion - was amazing. I have not managed to go around all our staff - but the ones that I have spoken to agree that the food was first class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very comfortable too.
