Valeria was very knowledgeable and passionate about all of the animals in the care of the rescue center.
It would be great if they didn't have to rely so much on private funding and if the government would help out more.
A must visit spot if you want to learn more about the local wildlife or even to just support a local rescue center.
Such a wonderful place, definitely worth visiting, a clear heaven for the rescued animals. Will need about 2 hrs for a full tour.

Housed in huge tropical forest enclosures, made to feel at home.

Today my 2 and a half month internship ended and I'm already reminiscing on the great experiences I had here. I spent 6 weeks at the main center and 4 weeks at Bosque and both places thought me so much! I would really encourage people to do the internships if you share a passion for wildlife and want experience working with exotic animals in an ethical way. I'm sure you will enjoy it!
Volunteering at Rescate has been an amazing and rewarding experience. The staff and long-term volunteers are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and truly dedicated to giving every animal the best possible chance at rehabilitation and release.
The team takes the time to explain why things are done in certain ways, and I left with a much deeper understanding of conservation, animal behavior, and the local ecosystem.

This is an extremely beautiful wildlife rescue Center. What they do for the animals is astounding and so necessary in our world. We had a wonderful tour from a highly knowledgeable and passionate tour guide (I wish I could remember her name here!) I highly recommend paying for the tour for a full experience !!
Amazing. Beautiful landscape with healthy wildlife! Restaurant was delicious with very refreshing fresh juices. There was no room for those milkshakes.... Next time?
