I also like that we can store tenancy agreements, insurance, and gas and electric certificates, and set up reminders for due dates. Now I recommend it to everyone.

RentalBux builds the units automatically the moment I enter the property details. I went from hours of setup to minutes. The only thing I want next is a bulk tenant upload from Excel but overall it is a huge step forward.

I hit the income threshold for MTD I hit the income threshold for MTD and needed to start with MTD from this april. My old spreadsheet was not going to cut it. Switched to RentalBux and started the record keeping. best thing is scanning invoice feature where i can scan my income and expenses by taking picture. quite unique and also everything was categorised automatically. I have not done a live quarterly submission yet but I ran through the process on the software and it looks straightforward. Fingers crossed my first quarterly submission goes smoothly in august.

I was sceptical at first I was sceptical at first because I assumed AI would misread things and I would spend more time correcting errors than just typing. But RentalBux reads my invoices with remarkable accuracy. I upload a photo from my phone and it picks up the amount, date and supplier instantly. It saves me serious time every week.

Receipt scanning is a game changer I used to keep a folder of paper receipts and type them all up at tax time. Now I just snap a photo and RentalBux pulls out the amount, date and supplier. Website slow to respond and difficult or impossible to set up a joint tenancy with joint owners, Support next to useless - they could not even book a demo (which was also not possible via the website despite completing the forms).

Rentalbux is brilliant for rental property management Rentalbux is brilliant for rental property management. It is easy to allocate all pennies that come and go from each properties. Most importantly it gives you notice on when gas/EICR/EPC are due. I get reminders closer I get to the date. I couldn't recommend it more.

Platform is a complete failure Absolutely disappointing experience. The platform is nearly unusable, especially for managing multiple properties or self-employment tasks. Linking to bank accounts and other key features they promote simply don’t work. Support is unhelpful, and dealing with them is a waste of time. I’ve lost countless hours trying to make this software work. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. Hard to understand how they have so many good reviews.

RentalBux for properties I started using RentalBux for my own properties and honestly, within the first month I could tell it was making things a lot easier, especially with the MTD side of things. That’s what made me start recommending it to my clients, especially those with just one property. They usually want something simple, and this just works for them. Also, their support is really good. Whenever I’ve needed help, they’ve replied quickly and actually sorted things out. I’ve tried a couple of other options before, but this is the only one I stick with for MTD.

suprisingly easy to set up everything. I am an old school so tech Is really not my best friend. So I was using excel sheet for as long as I can remember. Then I saw ad to rentalbux and it made me switch. I booked a Call and went through the quick guide. It was suprisingly easy to set up everything. It gave me confidence for coming MTD and now rentalbux is my best friend and For anyone like me who is coming from spreadsheets or manual records, RentalBux works brilliantly as a bridging software.
