Rentalbux is brilliant for rental property management. It is easy to allocate all pennies that come and go from each properties. Most importantly it gives you notice on when gas/EICR/EPC are due. I get reminders closer I get to the date. I couldn't recommend it more.

My sister and I own two properties together. Splitting income and expenses correctly for our tax returns was always a headache. RentalBux handles the profit split automatically based on our ownership percentages. MTD compliance for both of us is sorted thankfully.

Platform is a complete failure
Absolutely disappointing
experience.
The platform is nearly unusable, especially for managing multiple properties or self-employment tasks.
Linking to bank accounts and other key features they promote simply don’t work.
Support is unhelpful, and dealing with them is a waste of time.
I’ve lost countless hours trying to make this software work. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
Hard to understand how they have so many good reviews.

RentalBux for properties
I started using RentalBux for my own properties and honestly, within the first month I could tell it was making things a lot easier, especially with the MTD side of things.
That’s what made me start recommending it to my clients, especially those with just one property. They usually want something simple, and this just works for them.
Also, their support is really good. Whenever I’ve needed help, they’ve replied quickly and actually sorted things out.
I’ve tried a couple of other options before, but this is the only one I stick with for MTD.

suprisingly easy to set up everything.
I am an old school so tech Is really not my best friend. So I was using excel sheet for as long as I can remember. Then I saw ad to rentalbux and it made me switch. I booked a Call and went through the quick guide. It was suprisingly easy to set up everything. It gave me confidence for coming MTD and now rentalbux is my best friend and For anyone like me who is coming from spreadsheets or manual records, RentalBux works brilliantly as a bridging software.

I inherited a property and had no idea how to keep records properly. RentalBux already had all the hrmc recognised catagorisation set up for landlords. I just connect my bank, review the transactions and matched it to the correct income or expense category. i donot need accountant to hold my hand.

Rentalbux has made managing our shared properties so much easier. We used to spend ages working out who owed what and splitting the rental income, but now it only takes a few clicks. Everything stays clear between us so there is no awkwardness around money. It also handles the MTD stuff which is a big relief. Would properly recommend it if you co-own properties

As a sole trader with both rental and self-employment income, Rentalbux lets me manage everything in one place. Now I can easily create invoices while just by uploading phones and record bills works well, this was important to me. rentalbux has made things a lot simpler overall.

perfect for out joint propery ownership
I encouraged my partner to use this software for our joint property. It handles ownership splits and divides income/expenses perfectly. Once we set the split, everything is automatically calculated. Plus, it lets you assign profit shares across multiple properties in just a few clicks.

auto unit creation is easy after putting in property details
Setting up on Rentalbux is dead easy honestly. write in your property details and the units sort themselves out automatically, saves you a right bit of hassles. The only thing is you have to add tenants one by one which gets a bit tedious if you've got a bigger place. Would be well handy if you could just upload them straight from Excel. But apart from that it does the job nicely.
